I started as a technician for a nationally owned company but wanted to have more accountability for the actual service to my customers. I decided to venture out on my own. My wife agreed and we took out a second mortgage on our home. It was tough for a while and at times I didn't get a paycheck, but my business has continued to grow and I have developed some very nice friendships with my customers, some who have been with me since the beginning. I have done service for the City of Shoreline and have had the City of Bothell on service since 2009. I was recently hired by the large construction project taking place in Richmond Beach and do service for several condo associations and youth care facilities. A large portion of my work is with individual home owners. An added bonus was when my wife decided to retire from her job at the phone company and took over managing the office in 2007. It has allowed me more time in the field serving the community. It is a great feeling to realize I have owned my own company since 1995 and it has been successful enough to support us.

My husband and I had a problem with "creatures in the attic". Since I worked with Bonnie, I asked her if her husband would come out and investigate for us. Allen came right away and told us what the problem was. After setting some traps and a few follow-ups, the problem was solved. We recommended them to some friends of ours who have been very pleased with their service. If we have any problems in the future, I will not hesitate to them.

Very happy with this company. They were recommended by a friend when i found out that we had an outdoor rat problem (and detached garage). They came out the next day or two and sent a tech named Justin who set up bait and traps. He also was very helpful in educating me on where they were traveling and the steps we can take to help with the problem.
Some stuff seems obvious but I really did not know much about outdoor rats and the habitats they like. As of now the problem appears to be gone but we will continue for a little while longer for peace of mind.

Clinton was great.communicative, thorough, and friendly. Great experience. As an amendment to my review, dealing with them has suffered since they were bought out. They will show up when I'm not there and not come in the house after I've told them I need them to. All they want to do is spray around the outside of your house and bail. They promised to come back and never did. Am exploring other options. Seems to be what happens when company's are bought by a chain. Just getting someone on the phone takes 15- 20 minutes. Never had these problems when it was still pioneer. Bummer

I've been in property management for nine years and have been lucky to find a great pest control company. I've had the best experience with Justin Walruth for almost five years. He was originally with Halt Pest Control until they merged with Purcor. Justin has gone above and beyond ALL my expectations. He provides the best customer service to my residents, as well as my team and I.
Throughout the years I have brought him over to a total of three properties, and he provides the same service to each community. You will not regret working with Purcor! Do yourself a favor and ask for Justin because his professionalism and service is the best out of their team by far!

This Business has been buying up smaller companies yet their customer service is lacking in so many ways! I did get to a higher up after 4 1/2 hours only to hear Her kid scream the whole time We were on the phone. I was told I was unable to get thru for 2 hours because they were having a company meeting and not tending the phones (WHAT) I was hung up on twice when I was being transferred, They all of a sudden need to come to inspect first (I think anyway 1 person said so yet another said No) I heard I apologize 17 times in 4 hours! Yep they have that down.
Because I had more than 1 unit I had to speak to the scheduling team, Yet I was again called by someone that said I can help You and again I was transferred. I was woke up to my dogs barking and hearing someone scrounging around my bedroom window. Freaking out my dogs and alerting me. Neither your office nor your tech felt it a priority to call or text an appointment time, nor get confirmation that I approved that time. That is absolutely not OK. It is NOT OK for you to knock on my door and to proceed trespassing on my property, when there is no answer.
Your Tech was NOT customer service oriented. He made all kinds of excuses defending what he was doing. Not "I'm sorry for disturbing you", not "sorry I didn't mean to disrespect you or your property", not "Sorry we didn't notify you"; anything in the above would have helped keep the dialog open and maybe captured me as a client. He told me he couldn't call his boss/office about what had just taken place that I had to call then proceeds to do just that in his truck on my property.
Again absolutely no training in "excellent customer service". I had to walk to his truck tell him to leave. He acted like he had the right to be there and do whatever he wanted with no regard to me. THIS IS MY PROPERTY! Do you want the police involved, what is the matter with you? This was your initial visit after having acquired GoodNews Pest Control. Entitlement is not appealing.
You are absolutely NOT concerned about my business or providing "excellent customer service". You will not have my loyalty like I had with GoodNews Pest Control. You will not be getting paid for anything you may or may not have done here on my property before I was violently woken up. Super dissatisfied. In late October of 2021, after dealing with sporadic amounts of ants in weird places, my husband and I decided to deal with it once and for all. Having old family friend ties to this business (Crossroads Church), we decided to use Pioneer Pest control (PurCor). We were promised a thorough sweep, but the tech didn't ask any questions and it was a quick walk through.
They completely avoided the actual hot spot we were specifically worried about (our attic). For $250 you'd think we might see the end of this issue. We were told to call back for a discount ($90) if they needed to spray again, but we skipped the deadline after not seeing any. Well, tonight (1/2/22) we found 3 in our upstairs bedroom. We thought this issue had been taken care of. Extremely dissatisfied.

I chose this company based off of good ratings but received poor services. Basically, a newer technician came to service our home and he didn't use the appropriate setting on his sprayer which ended up getting all over our windows leaving drip and spatter marks. This also didn't provide as good of chemical coverage since the stream setting was used (and all over the windows instead).
I also had just spent 4 hours cleaning all of our windows so this was extra frustrating. When I informed them of this issue they offered to come clean the windows with the technician to use it as a "learning experience." I thought this was odd as I would have thought they'd issue a credit off the initial bill due which was $335. But, I gave them that opportunity to make it right since cleaning 40 windows was such a chore. Well, they sent 2 guys out with windex and paper towels and they spent MAYBE 25 minutes tops half-assing SOME of the windows, leaving the worst ones, and leaving smear marks.
This was their way of making it right? So disappointing! So I notified them of this and asked them to please make it right and they refused to comp the next service of $139. They said they'd only do 50% off. That doesn't give me reassurance to pay them again for another crappy service. Ridiculous and a shame all around. So here we are $335 spent and I get to clean the windows up after them.

Service from the technician is wonderful but getting rescheduled has not been pleasant. first time tried to push me out a month when the tech told me 7-10 days. I am now on hold trying to get rescheduled for the next follow up. Finally able to get me scheduled with in the time frame I needed. Office was very pleasant on phone and tried to make it work, and they did.

We have been experiencing ants for months now, and we have had someone come out 4 times to get this under control and there is still ants. I understand it times take but this is just ridiculous. First they were on our counters and now we are seeing them all over the kitchen and in our cupboards. So I called today to speak with someone about coming out to take care of the ants that we are now seeing in our cupboards and spoke to a woman named Tiffany.
This was the WORST customer service experience I've ever had. She was beyond rude on the phone and Originally said no one could come out until the 2nd of October. She put me on hold and "some how" got disconnected, so I called back and spoke to Tiffany once again and was rude yet again. Then she tells me someone is able to come out on Saturday?
So I'm confused why was the soonest Oct 2nd? After this next service we will be leaving and won't be recommending this place to anyone. In udder shock with how this woman speaks to her PAYING customers.

Over the years I have used Pioneer Pest because the owner, Mike Adams, is a man of integrity. Recently I observed some activity that looked like mice. They came out 3 times to set traps & monitors and check for activity. Each time I received a courtesy email the day before narrowing the arrival window to 2 hours. Tyler was timely, clean, and courteous. He also explained the process well and kept me informed. Great service overall.

Pioneer pest was a lifesaver. It was two days before our big Halloween party and it had been two weeks that we've been trying to get rid of fleas from our house on our own. It took pioneer a few hours and us away from our house and we were in the clear. They were friendly on the phone and they were friendly at our house I would totally recommend Pioneer pest management to anyone.

Mike is great, super friendly and made sure our home was totally taken care of from the dang sugar ants. Pioneer is timely, easy to work with, affordable and effective. No more ants for us. thank god, because i was losing my mind. They have clearly marked vehicles and always give a call when they're coming. They send invoices and are upfront with all costs. Very happy with this company. Jon came out to our house and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to all my rambling comments concerns and gave options for addressing each issue. He was not to trying to sell us anything and that was such a relief. He located where the carpenter ants were accessing our house and gave various options to address. We will certainly use them again and request that Jon revisit us.

I called to deal with an ant problem and they were able to get me in immediately. The service man was on time, polite, and explained everything he was doing. He was also able to clearly explain the problem, type of any, how to avoid it in the future. The price was reasonable, and they have a very good follow up.

After getting stung by yellow jackets, I called Pioneer Pest Mgmt to remove their nest. The lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She scheduled a technician for the same day. Daniel (the tech) spent a full hour removing a very large nest (size of a beach ball) in our junipers. Problem solved on the same day I called!
After discussing the racoon footprints in our crawl space, Daniel mentioned that they could install special screens (that are racoon proof) from the inside our our crawl space to keep all large and small critters out. We had Daniel come back and install the screens. Now, we don't have to worry about critters getting in our crawl space. Overall, We have been highly impressed with the quality of the work completed by Daniel and would definitely recommend Pioneer for any pest problems!

I used Pioneer Pest back in the Spring for rats in my crawl space. The people who came out were very friendly and professional. I used them for the initial rat extermination set up and then two follow up visits for a total of around $650. They mentioned that they were probably coming from under my garage. They caught one rat and killed another, which is great - but I decided to opt out of their continuing service.
This past week I smelled another rat that died in my crawl space, so I went down there myself to try and find it. 30 minutes of crawling around there I located where they were nesting and two avenues they were probably coming in from. There was a hole in the dirt between the ground and foundation of my house and a hose going through my crawl space in one of the vents going outside.
This is where my frustration comes in. When they were down there, why were there no suggestions for sealing these entrances? Either A) They didn't look very hard, or B) If they seal it would I still need their reoccurring services? Based on basic research you must seal any possible entrances as a vital way to stop rats from nesting down there.
In 3 visits did they not find it or do they not offer sealing services? One of the rats they killed they couldn't find, so it smelled the house for a couple of weeks. If they don't seal entrances, why would anyone pay hundreds to thousands of dollars to have a reoccurring decomposing rat smell?

Very pleased with the initial treatment and quarterly visits thereafter. I wanted a no fuss service that well.just left me alone! After the first attempt to schedule a quarterly visit I shared this with them and now they just show up, do what needs to be done, hang a notice on my door, and email me a report. Awesome! One less thing to worry about and to take my time. They're even conscientious about my water well/pump house and not doing any kind of treatments that will end up in my water.

I referred my mother to Pioneer Pest for her four legged infestation. After the appointment, my mom raved about how friendly and professional the inspector was. Her words exactly, "He crawled under the house (yuk). Set lots of traps, sealed all holes where they might be coming in. Did a great and awesome job. He even moved my stove and sealed an area where the hole cut too big for electrical cable. Just above and beyond in service!" Thank you Pioneer Pest for taking good care of my mom!
