It's been a month since I contacted Pointe Pest Control for help eliminating mice. I've lived here 20 years and never had a single mouse. Now we have a slight neighborhood infestation. Marc Corona came out and found a possible entry hole and plugged it securely. He then placed bait traps in the crawl space and in two spaces outdoors, and sprayed outside for other pests. Marc was professional and very clear explaining things to watch for. Fortunately, I have not seen or caught any more mice since he was here!
While this was not an expense I was expecting, I don't want even one mouse. I bought too many mouse traps for indoors and placed a security camera on the floor to watch for any activity. It was amazing to see a mouse run across the top of a big metal humane trap and then jump down and run around the snap traps - like a cartoon. After outsmarting this mouse with a trap on top of a trap, I decided enough was enough and it was time for professionals to step in. I have better things to do with my time.

What a scam, be careful. My initial call with the local representative was wonderful. We talked in DETAIL about the service and price for the service. I was told by Steve he was going to send over some paperwork via Email and just to sign it. Thank goodness i read the "paperwork", because it was a year long contract that misquoted prices, did not represent ANYTHINH that we discussed on the phone (an initial visit with possible two to three follow ups).
I called Steve back and told him that this is not what we talked about on the phone, that the prices were not what we talked about on the phone, and that I was not interested in a year contracted. I was then told a new set of "paperwork" would be sent reflecting the correct price and an addendum saying that if I cancelled before year end that they would wave the $99 cancellation fee. WHAT?
That was new information to me, a cancellation fee? Oh, and about the misquoted price "That is just something our manager has us put in, I will make sure you pay the $180 not $225 for the visit." NO THANK YOU! What a scam, bait and switch, misrepresentation of prices and services. BUYER BE WARE!

Pointe Pest Control has been to our home several times at this point as part of our ongoing treatment program and we have been very impressed. Not only are we seeing our issue improving (carpenter ants), but the technicians are knowledgable and very thorough. Our most recent technician (Josh) not only applied the treatment, but diligently inspected and treated additional areas and scouted the area where located a nest on our property - which he also treated. From the staff we have interacted with, you'd be hard pressed to find a more attentive and more pleasant pest control experience.

We called them for help with a mouse problem, after seeing all their positive reviews. I'm shocked to have NOT had the same experience.the first time out they didn't bait HALF of our traps! (I know//WTH!) Second time out (a week later) had to restart the initial process. Have been calling for multiple days straight, trying to get ahold of a manager--no response--no call back--no solution.but they were sure quick to disbatch a "inspector" right out of the gate --same day to "take" your money. "Uncle Kenny" assured he would get us "taken care of"--yet this is the furthest statement from what we've experienced.
All in all, Waste of money- essentially we paid for a service we've never received.we've done all the hard work--could have done it ourselves and saved HUNDREDS! We were supposed to have a tech out Monday-- he was running behind so didn't get us in.now we have to wait longer for their scheduling issue? This place is a scam and a joke.

I paid $500 up front for pest control, in which they were not performing. I told them not to come back and they "canceled my contract." They charge a $95 fee. I refused to pay this. They sold $107 of debt to a collection company that got a garnishment of wages for over $500. These people are absolutely horrible, they don't do the work, and they're as shady as the collections agency. I do not recommend.

I've never been to these guys personally but I loved the fact that their drivers blocked off traffic cause numerous people almost hit me cause no one knows what a red light means apparently. I was using a crosswalk area and I had the light to go and was walking and nobody seemed to stop on a red light. But one of Pointe drivers blocked the traffic for me to go. So if I ever need pest control I'm going here. They get 5 stars for this

My wife hired these guys to deal with a wasp nest under the siding shingles on our house. They assured her that they would be able to deal with the nest without removing any siding. The technician explained to her that they would put this stuff that would kill them as they entered and exited the site. They said that she should call back if there wasn't an improvement within a week.
There is no improvement so she calls them back, they schedule a time to come out. The technician that they send out has no idea what or where hes working on. Have to explain the situation all over again. He informs me that there's nothing he can do but spray them with some wasp spray. He says they would have to remove siding to figure it out.
So basically we paid $100 to have this company do what I already did several times, spray wasp killer under our siding. The flashy clothing and bright logos should have been our first sign. After looking this company up and seeing their logo with the '5 star' yelp image under their company name should have been a bright red flag. Save yourself some money and avoid this company. I'm sure their social media rep will respond with some apologetic nonsense about how they want to make this right. Just do the job we hired you for and don't lie to people to get their business. You guys should change your logo to reflect your 3.5 star rating.

Great, fast service and very honest company. I suspected we had bed bugs so we had one of their inspectors come out. We were actually leaving for a trip when I started suspecting and the inspector was able to do the visit when we were still gone, which was very convenient. They sent someone out there the next day and he communicated to me via my cellphone which was great and made sure to lock up my house.
It turned out we didn't have bed bugs and I really appreciated his honesty - I think a lot of pest control companies would have lied and said we did just to get more money. The inspection was completely free too. Stellar service all around and everyone I spoke to was super nice, will definitely be using them in the future.

I had my service done on Saturday. Today is Monday and after a busy weekend, I finally went outside to look around. I can stand on my driveway and look up and see 5 wasp nests. The technician said he knocked them down and took them with him. One of them is right under the eaves by the garage door. Right in the open maybe 8 feet up. Hopefully the wasps are gone.
There is also spider webs on the eaves in the back of the house. I got a discount, because the truck was already going to be in the area. I think they did a discount job. I didn't think I needed to follow him around and make sure he sprayed and did his job like he said he would. I don't want to pay for more services when they couldn't even do a decent job on the initial service. The guy who did the inspection part was very professional.

Brent came out yesterday to take care of our quarterly service. Not only did he call in advance to give me a heads up, he also asked if he could come early since his schedule was running faster than expected, which is a bonus! He was incredibly polite and friendly. Wee also took in the interior service, which he was careful in our rooms and friendly with our small dog. Top notch communication and service! Definitely recommend Pointe Pest Control and Brent, and their ongoing service plans! Five stars +++!

Strongly recommend not this company. I've had two other pest control companies in the past. This one by far takes the cake. Receptionist is the worst. Customer service is not her first thought. Even with me making a complaint about the front desk to a manager same approach. They don't accommodate schedules. After signing up they tried coming two months after the initial service for their quarterly.
And that's with me already having them come out twice for bugs. Then they wanted to wait for the quarterly. Constantly having to have them come out to do a respray for bugs. Something I haven't had to do with any other pest company I had in the past. Won't let me out of my contract otherwise I would have already.

A few days ago Steven called me following up on an inquiry I submitted on their website. Throughout the conversation he estimated that pest control price would be $150 for a one time visit/initial but if I decide to do a season contract/agreement it's $99 for every visit. NEVER did I ask or did he mention $99 as a discounted price. Steven told me to be on the look out for an email with the options He provided on the call. Then, once I've decided to respond or cal back to schedule the service.
The date We discussed was August 1st. Today, 7/28, still no email and bees/wasps are swarming around my property. I call the company and spoke with a nice lady who couldn't find me in their sustem. She then tried an alternative search and transferred me to Steven. When I spoke with Steven, everything was cordial. I mentioned that I didn't receive an email from him but I'd like to love forward with scheduling the seasonal package.
All was good, agreed on $99 each visit. Moved first visit from August 1st to July 31st due to system recognition: If I did August 1st, my next visit would not be until Spring 2021 If I moved it to July, I would fit into October's visit. He said he'd give me a call back once he emails me the documents. Five minutes later he calls me. I receive the email and everything looks great.
I was curious if they offered a military discount and immediately Steven's demeanor changed. He chuckled and said he already gave me a discount from $150 to $99 and he'd normally would charge initials at $150. He asked me if that made sense that he was already giving me a $51 discount. I told him it doesn't make sense but it's not a discount, that was the quote/estimate you gave me since day one; $150 for one service and $99 for seasonal.
He was getting frustrated that I asked him to explain why he considers that a discount and offended that I asked. He told me he's already given me a discount, they have the best prices in town and if we're starting off on the wrong foot you can go somewhere else. I told him the only issue I have is his transparency since NEVER was a discount discussed nor did he mention any "special pricing" from the beginning.
I told him I didn't care if they don't offer military discount, I just don't like it when a company tries to deceive their customers from believing they are going out of their way when it's not. I asked if he was the owner and he said he makes all the decisions, do I have a boss - yes I do, and we don't need your business.
Find a different company. and hung up on me. My apartment neighbor had an infestation that my landlord at homeland realty didnt take care of for months and eventually bedbugs made it into my home. I had a heat treatment done in february and it is now june and I've noticed a few more bedbugs. I am giving 1 star because the heat treatment must not have been 100% effective and now my landlord is threatening to have me pay for any after treatments saying I caused it was already a problem prior to me moving in.
Also giving 1 star because the people were unprofessional and damaged my belonging including breaking legs on my couch, damaging my box spring, and breaking a lamp. I also take ambien when needed I keep it on my bedside table and after pointe pest control was in my home the whole bottle was missing. I realize I'm not as old as your other clients but it doesnt allow you to treat my things with disrespect. Overall I suggest grumpys pest control because he is much more professional and always treated my home with care and respect.

We hired Pointe Pest for yellow jacket and mice control. They were quick and professional in initiating service and told me to phone them if we had any issues between their scheduled monthly service dates. We recently discovered a mouse in our backup snap trap. I have called twice and was told that someone would call me back. Sadly, no one has returned my call. I have been waiting now for three weeks. It took a few visits but for the first time since 1998, we have been mouse free! Thanks Pointe Pest!

I have never had a problem at out house in North Spokane. The come out and do a great job every time. In Fact I scheduled them to come 1/18/2020 and do the inside and outside. He showed up, was super friendly did a great job. Been using them for 7 months now. A little pricey but they have to make a living and i'm ok with the convenience and piece of mind. Ever wake up in the morning with a spider hanging about 8 inches above your face? I have LOL.

Both of the technicians I've used so far from the Spokane area- Dave and Forrest - have been very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. I started using their service around August 1st for German cockroaches and they where available within days. Within a week it was very noticeable that the solution was working. A month and a half later and we have no cockroaches, no spiders, and no ants! Will continue to use their service as well as recommend.

I would never recommend this company and do not give them credit card information. They will not return calls bill you for coming out when they don't. Initial treatment was fine but the failed to show up and still charged me. Total scam. Stephen will not return calls and I have wasted hours diputing with the bank. Truly terrible company zero stars.

Stay way! I have had their salesmen knock all the time on my door several times (3 in 8 days) after repeated times to deny any service. Then the last time the sales man tried to open the front door before even ringing the door bell and held the screen door in a manner that tried to push and prevent me from saying NO. If this is what sales are doing I could just see on how a contract would be like from them! I have called the management office to have them stop but I cannot get to the "sales manager" to stop harassing me.

Pointe provides OK service, which amounts to laying out 2 mouse traps and spraying the edge of the house, for $100 per month. God forbid you ever try to cancel your service (since anyone can do that in about ten minutes with about $10 of supplies from Walmart) they will make you jump through hoops. AND they will keep coming to your house. And billing you. You have to cancel your service repeatedly. Scam.

I cannot believe that I paid these people for a service for 3 years to find out that never did anything to get rid of the mice or spiders. The last time they were scheduled to service my home the rep flat out lied. I know because I was home. He left a card on my poarch saying he treated my home. He did not. He did not call. He did not even knock on the door.
I took out my trash and I found the card. Then after telling Pointe what he did, they asked to reschedule. I had already lost a whole day waiting for the rep. So hard no and they still billed me. I went through and checked all my traps and the plastic had never been removed from the bait to kill the mice. I don't recommend this company. I would ask whoever you use what practice they use.
