House Specialty uses only Health Department approved chemicals. Ours are non-staining, odorless, and completely safe for people, as well as pets. We have families too, and we use the same chemicals in our customers' homes that we use in our own. We're licensed and certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health, bonded, and insured. We have always been completely satisfied with the outstanding treatments we have received from this company. Years ago we had carpenter bees and the technician, Rory, came, sprayed and completely eliminated the bees. Recently there have been mice in our neighborhood and a single mouse appeared in our basement. Again Rory came, set out boxes, etc. and upon his return to check in 90 days there was no sign of mice. The cost for these services has been very fair and Rory is diligent, conscientious, and extremely competent.

We've used House Specialty for several years now. Rory is always on time, courteous and professional. They respond promptly and are proactive in reaching out, which we appreciate. Another important thing is that Rory arrives in a regular vehicle with no signage. We very much like that it's not obvious to neighbors that we are having exterminating done. I used house specialty for the first time as I have normally used terminix in the past. Rory took his time and definitely serviced my home much better than the big name companies. I have been having an ant problem and after one treatment I found many dead ants that came out due to the product. I did have Rory come back one more time and he did quickly and helped add more treatment to two areas of the house.
He is so friendly, polite, honest, and meticulous about his work. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to solve an insect or rodent issue. I will only use them in the future.

Rory was very prompt responding to our mice infestation last Nov. He was very knowledgeable about the issue we were having and also a calming influence. He did a thorough investigation of all the levels of the house. He followed up with us a couple months later as he had promised and we are confident the problem has been resolved. He is very easy to work with, fair priced, and resolved the problem. Would definitely use again if the need arises and would highly recommend this company!
