Bug-N-A-Rug is a family owned and operated business. Sue and I have been residents of North Carolina since 1980. Two of our sons are associated with the business. Brent Hollingsworth graduated from Hoggard High School and went on to receive his BS in Business and Master of Accounting from The University of North Carolina in 1995. He is a CPA and assists with tax, accounting and financial aspects of the business.Stan Hollingsworth graduated from Hoggard High School in 1996. He attended The Citadel in Charleston, SC on a football scholarship and graduated in 2000 with a BS in Business. After graduating, Stan spent 3 years with Forshaw Chemical based out of Atlanta, Georgia. On April 1st, 2005 he came home to be the owner/manager of Bug-N-A-Rug. We continually look for new ways to provide service and knowledge needed to solve customer problems. We sincerely appreciate all of our customers and do our very best to meet customer expectations. Silverfish, Lepisma saccharina, lack wings and propel themselves with a peculiar wiggling motion like that of a fish, thus the name. Capable of living two to eight years, they enjoy moist areas and can be found in basements, garages, closets and attics. They prefer foods high in starchy, and in addition to contaminating the food they eat they also destroy property in their quest for nourishment. Roaches

Cockroaches, of the order Blattaria, are considered among the hardiest and fastest moving insects on the planet. The palmetto bug, as it's known in the southern United States, travels quickly and can fit into small cracks and under doors despite being rather large.

We are just really pleased with the customer service and the up front honesty and the really awesome pricing didn't hurt either! Plus this is the 3 rd flea treatment we've had in a couple of years...and this is the only time we've noticed an actual difference!! And we are local business owners our selves and we know that most of our most loyal customers found us by word of mouth or chose us over our local competitors based solely on our web based customer reviews. But thanks again because it looks like we'll getting some sleep instead of getting bit tonight!
