We used Slug-A-Bug's service since about 1999. They made and kept appointments, even after we moved to PA and rented the FL home. They kept in touch concering preventative concerns and their pricing was very reasonable. We never had a termite problem all these years! We were able to sell the home this year in termite free condition :

I have used Slug A Bug for years for General pest control and they are excellent. They will come out on a moments notice if there is a lot of rain and ants show up for example. Just spoke to Randy at this Company as a potential new customer. I asked many questions on treating for bugs under a Single Wide Mobile Home with blowing Boric Acid under it as part as the initial visit as well as the perimeter outside the house, and the usual treatment inside. This Randy person was unprofessional, and Rude to me simply because I had important questions before becoming a customer. His rudeness continued until he Flatly stated to me that he didn't want me as a Slug a Bug Customer. Beware People of this Randy Person and this Company.

He did a very thorough treatment inside and out and paused periodically to talk to me about the issues and what he was seeing. We have had Slug a Bug for over 7 years they have been treating our yard and inspecting for termites to keep our termite bond. We have no bugs, no ants, no issues of any kind. They have been friendly and always responsive. The peace of mind and ease of working with them have been great.

We started our service with Slug-A- Bug recently to maintain our lawn. Our tech was very friendly and professional. He did a very good job in fertilizing and explained us politely about the usage of different fertilizers used for each variety of grass types. I would recommend their best service to anyone out there!

Can't say enough about our Tech Jason and his Supervisor Randy. Had a horrendous invasion of Whitefooted ants. Googled them-almost impossible to get rid of. Jason came by the house twice a week, hunted, sprayed, hunted down their nest for almost a month. Would find the nest, spray and dust, always Covid Compliant. Survivors would move nest again and again. Jason would track them down.

Eventually with the help of Randy, he did the attic work, These freakin freaks of nature were finally eliminated. No extra charge, we have been clients of Slug a Bug since we got our Seizure prone Sheltie in the mid 2000s. They were always careful with the spraying when he was with us. He went to the Rainbow bridge some years ago, but Slug a Bug is still with us. 5 Star rating for sure.

We have used them for years to control bugs. Always an excellent job done by helpful, service oriented people. Recently had a rodent in the attic issue. As soon as we called they went to work. Assessed the issue. Lined up service people. Again, helpful, service oriented people did everything promised on schedule.

The tech was prompt, professional and courteous, however I could not afford them, although I would like to have hired them. Of all of the interviews and inspections I had, they seemed the best.

Slug-A-Bug has been my exterminator for years and I really appreciate that they are so professional and thorough. And I would like to elect James as Employee of the Year, he is the best!

Why pay for a termite bond when if ever you are worried about termites coming back, you are treated like you don't know what you're talking about. I have found multiple termites in my garage and noticed new termite damage, yet whoever has come to inspect my property assured me there was nothing to worry about. No one ever offered any service for peace of mind.

If I had a customer repeatedly call about possible termites, I might offer my customer something (even at additional cost) to ease their mind. A termite bond with slug a bug is worthless in my opinion. Seems like they just want to collect a check every year until you have a serious structural dilemma, resulting in construction costs on top of their worthless termite bond. I'd love if slug a bug had the guts to change my mind about their piss poor customer service.

The people there are very accommodating & works with you if something comes up. Very friendly & knowledgeable about their job. Our pest control person, Chrissy, is very competent & personable. Our termite guy, Jesse, kept up in the loop & Rick gets results fast. In fact, the entire staff is great & most helpful. Last, they are watch out for the little ones (& I don't mean the bugs) & animals so it would be safe for them to be in the environment. Thanks.

Slug a bug, should change their name to Be-no-Bugs cause that's what we got. They were very accommodating and polite, did a comprehensive inspection and treatment, told me what to expect and will come back at the drop of a hat for any issue. There hasn't been any bugs inside my home and I live in a forest! Locally Owned and Family operated too!

I called Slug-A-Bug last Tuesday because my wife made me buy a gigantic china hutch from an antique store in Grant six months ago and we started noticing evidence of possible termite activity on a couple of the shelves. Christine answered and said they didn't treat stand-alone furniture, but passed me off to Chuck the Inspector who said he'd come take a look and I asked that he also see what can be done about the damn ants in the bathrooms. Chuck arrived on-time at 3pm the following Monday and said yes, dry-wood termites were having their way with the hutch, he's seen it hundreds of times in furniture bought from antique malls, and highly recommended taking it to the landfill. Luckily, he found no evidence of termite activity anywhere else in the house.

After inspecting the interior and exterior of the house he said easy fix on the ant problem and any other bugs that might try to invade and sold me on $175 initial treatment and $86 every quarter for maintenance treatment. It seems like a lot of money, but the ants drive my wife crazy and I've tried all kinds of stuff from Home Depot and I just want peace and quiet and no more damn ants for a change. Chuck passed me off to Joe the Technician who was very accommodating with my schedule and agreed to arrive Wednesday at 7:15am to do the inside of the house so I could leave for work while he treated the exterior. Joe arrived on-time and spent about 30 minutes in the house and garage and completed the outside while I got ready to leave. Joe said he'll come back in a week or so to treat the exterior once more and that should last for three months until the next quarterly treatment. Overall great experience. Slug-A-Bug is by far the best pest control company I've dealt with. After dealing with another termite control company who was completely devoid of integrity, we retained Slug-A-Bug's services to treat our property with Termidor and provide us with a termite bond. They have gone far above the call of duty in supporting us on other services beyond the scope of that contract. I am extremely grateful for their integrity as well as their commitment to me as a customer. They are the very best of the best.

Very pleased with the service to our yard. Living beachside brings new issues to deal with outside pests and lawn care. Carlton, our tech, is always pleasant, keeps us up to date on his work and any problems he sees. We also use Slug-A-Bug for a property in northern Brevard and the visual difference to the yard is 100%. Very pleased there as well.
