IPM is a pest control strategy that uses several methods such as mechanical devices, physical devices, genetic, biological, legal, cultural management, and chemical management. There are three stages of these methods which include prevention, observation, and intervention. It's goal is to eliminate or reduce the use of pesticides. In our opinion we have the best IPM strategies in the area. Our goal is to educate our customers in order to prevent insects from invading the home with simple and common sense practices.

Carpenter Ants

Carpenter Ants They are active during the spring and summer months. They feed on sources of protein and sugar. Carpenter ants do not eat wood but make their nests in moist wood. Trim trees or bushes that overhang or touch your home. Remove high moisture conditions or any moisture damaged wood.
Bees

Bees Bees are most active during the summer and early fall months. They mainly feed on pollen and nectar which is beneficial for pollination. Once the bees have been killed, it is recommended to remove the nest to prevent the wax comb from melting and staining your walls. The melted wax comb frees honey and will attract other insects.
Roaches

Roaches Roaches can be found in the home at any time of the year. They are very resilient and can survive freezing temperatures. They can go one month without water and up to three months without food. One female can reproduce 300-400 offspring in its lifetime.

Owner/technician
Bruce started Hanes Exterminating, Inc. 16 years ago after working as an exterminator for 18 years. When he is not killing bugs, you may find him out in a secluded fishing hole or in the woods hunting for whatever is in season. Bruce will make sure that when he leaves your home or business that you are satisfied with a smile.
Betty Hanes
Office Manager
Betty has been with Hanes Exterminating, Inc. for 11 years. She is the bridge between the customer and the technician. When there is a problem or when you need assistance ASAP, she is the one to talk to. When Betty isn't running the office, she spends her time with family and friends. What she enjoys most about her job is the customer interaction. She takes her job very serious and always makes sure the customer is being taken care of.
Jerry Cizauskas
Technician
Jerry has been with Hanes Exterminating, Inc. for over 9 years now. When Jerry is not working for Hanes, he spends most of his time hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, and spending time at his cabin up north.
Brandon Rogers
Technician
Brandon is the newest member of the Hanes family. When Brandon isn't working for Hanes, he spends his time playing pool, golf, or working on his home. Brandon's favorite part of exterminating is solving problems.
