Since I'm still dealing with there bullshit I'll post a follow up review later, just know they are crooks and I would stay clear. Also over priced. Guy tried to charge for service that wasn't needed.

I have to say I was provided with all the information and then some needed. When I spoke with Mike he was very professional in explaining how bed bugs work and how they work to get rid of them. He took his time and did not rush. I felt a family vibe and I got a sense of " this is what we do". When d day rolled around the technician was professional and broke it down the way I understood well what was happening.

Since d-day 1 and d day 2 I have been bite free. The price was excellent compared to other offers by a long shot. And it is effective. I am happy and starting to return to normal as we are putting things back in place. This is my nyc place for this and this is an nyc company when u here the accent you know your home.

Everything about Alpha Pest Management was unfailingly helpful, professional, with 100% results. Mike, the owner, made a mini-nightmare bearable- and then disappear! (For the first time in an entire lifetime of living in Manhattan, I found my studio apartment had bedbugs.) 1) Mike was always, and easily, accessible via direct mobile number. 2) The turnaround time from first call to my appointment was quick, and efficiently handled in a picky building (forms. insurance. etc) 3) Mike's company also offers prep work/help -and- detection service- so he can walk you through from beginning to end. 4) And, last but not least, each employee I interacted with (two did the heavy-lifting, prep and extermination work, one was a canine handler) was first rate. Absolutely zero complaints- only praise. AND THANKS. Don't hesitate to call him!

Found a couple of questionable critters running about my apartment and called Mike at Alpha Pest (late at night!) and he responded immediately to a photo text message of the bugs and was super helpful - turned out it wasn't anything harmful. Mike is super responsive and I highly recommend his services.

I am absolutely TERRIFIED of mice.so when I spotted one running across my living room 3 weeks ago I was about ready to move! After numerous attempts trying to handle it myself I finally made the decision to call in a pro and I'm glad I did. I called around 11 AM and Mike answered the phone. He answered every one of my questions and was very kind.

He sent out an exterminator around 2:30 that afternoon. I didn't catch his name but he was everything I needed! Super thorough and answered the many many questions I had about mice. After all was said and done I was charged right in the middle of quote I was given (but would've paid double). Should I need an exterminator again I will not hesitate to call alpha pest!

A very positive and educational experience in meeting Mike and his son, Mike, today. Mike, Sr., is very knowledgeable and very understanding of his client's feelings. He has a patient, reassuring manner and after he left, I felt so much better about my mouse sightings and other pest concerns. I knew everything was going to be fine. I was so glad and felt relieved.

I called his business on a weekend, left a message and he called back immediately. He gave me advice on what I could do until he got there on Monday morning. His description of his business, "Personal level of service that is superior to the service provided by some of the larger pest control companies", is accurate. Honestly, I wouldn't want to deal with any other pest control company! He is the best and at a fair and reasonable price, too. No problem in highly recommending AlphaPest! They did not fix the mice problem. I called them and texted and they ghosted me.

I am so grateful to Mike and Nick for taking care of my bed bug situation before it got out of control. They are very knowledgeable and professional and Mike answered all of my questions and was very prompt in giving me his response. They are amazing and I am a satisfied customer.

Mike was quick to respond in a time of distress when I thought I had found a bed bug. I sent him pictures via text message and he assured me that it was not a bed bug. He was honest and very helpful! He could have taken advantage of me for some extra cash, but he showed integrity and calmed me down!

Look, having bedbugs is a traumatic experience, so nobody wants to spend time writing a review that reminds them of their trauma. Suffice to say, these guys got the job DONE. Mike possesses both calming and kickass tones of voice, so you know he'll take care of you. Ask for Nick to do the actual job. I called him "The Wolf" like Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction - he's clear, concise, and takes care of the job with a sharp eye for detail. He also treated our cat brilliantly. Ask questions, follow directions. Go to them. They know what they're doing.

So, my original review was 5 stars and that was for Mike - the owner. The problem is that the second time I called them, a junior employee came out. The underlying problem was bed bugs but it was misdiagnosed as bird mites. So, a lot of bird mite chemicals were sprayed but the bed bugs were naturally still feasting. I then asked for the cost of bed bug treatment but it was quite expensive compared to other options even though I already paid for the first visit. So, I chose another vendor. The employee was extremely pleasant though. So, I recommend getting Mike himself unless you are absolutely sure of the diagnosis.

Mike, Nick and the entire staff are super nice, super friendly, available and very patient. They took time to answer all my neurotic questions and calmed me down. They were knowledgeable, thorough and reliable. Everything was very professional. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do I will not hesitate to call them.

The service was first rate. The exterminator, Nick, was very conscientious with his work and took the time to explain everything that I needed to know about my problem. Would use them again without a second thought.

They did a good job with my moms bed bug extermination. They were somewhat expensive compared to what I thought it would cost. But another exterminator I received a referral from tried to charge me double What Apple did. The other guy was not aware that women customers can do something called comparison shopping. Any way I digress. service from apple was great and so far the bed bugs have not returned.

Like some old people my mother was reluctant to throw out a lot of her old unused belongings (hoarder) and that was a long process. Mr Apple man was very patient and did not try to take advantage of the situation or the delay. The prep work I had to do was horrendous. My mom had a lot of clutter so there is a chance she could get a reinfestation at some point due to keeping much of her furniture that was infested but hopefully not. If so I would use Apple again. The owner seems very trustworthy and forthright,

This is a long awaited review as I lost the name. Back in July of 2013 I had a bedbug issue in my apartment. The building was owned by a large management company that refused to take care of the issue and sent unprofessionals. When I found this company - I called and spoke to Mike. He was extremely helpful and gave me all sorts of advice. He discussed options that he could do if I hired them and what to look for if another inspector (picked by the management company) came by.

He was so nice the entire time and answered all my questions. I must have called him three or four times in that one week and each time he was patient and gave answers even though he knew I may not be able to hire him. in the end my building's management came by and did not do the job correctly. I left the lease. Still, I would not have been able to get through that time without the patience of Mike. Thank you!

I have used alpha pest twice in the last 4 months. The initial visit would have constituted for a 4 star rating. We initially contacted Alpha pest because we had a rodent issue. The first gentleman who came to inspect our home was great. He was kind, professional and able to explain information without sounding condescending or rude. He laid out a bunch of pet-friendly traps, as well as the powder for the rodents to nibble on.

After 2 weeks, we found one of the rodents and was hoping this would be the end. Circa a month and half later, we have noticed a lot more droppings! So we called again, initially pleased by Alpha Pest service, and tried to arrange for another service. After chasing them down via email and calling like a lunatic we were finally able to arrange for another service man to come to the home.

Although this person was very nice, he seemed less interested in killing the rodents, and more interested in our dog. He didn't even move the oven out of the way, like the first service person did, and just poured the powder behind the oven (which there is barely any space. unless u move it!). We still have a pest problem. We are out over $300 to kill one mouse.

I hate to leave a poor review, especially when the first inspection went so well, but for the price we paid i would hope that i wouldn't have a rodent issue anymore. Tip to others trying to get rid of the rodents- go to home depot, buy the powder they use and steel wool to cover holes and hope for the best. Its better than being out all this money and unsatisfied with the service.

I had a great experience with the company. My bed bug problem was pretty severe, and they came back as many times as was necessary, without question. The guy they ha do the follow up treatments was very knowledgable and I am thrilled to say we are now bed bug free! I would recommend Alpha to anyone.
