Mike has been in the pest control business for over 15 years but he did not start there. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's in finance.

Mike didn't know much about pest control at the time but he worked with the owner for a year and decided to buy the company from him. Eventually the business grew and Mike was able to drop his other two jobs once his business more than quadruple'd. Crown Termite Control is now a family owned business including Mike, his wife Theresa, his partner of 13 years, Brad Costa and part-time worker Gary Bowley who has been there eight years.
