Coastline fumigated/tented our home the year before and all was just fine until recently. Later down the road I discovered hundreds of termites in the roof/skylight space as well as rot and tunnels in my studs in the bathroom below, and garage. After some arm twisting they decided to honor their 2 year fumigation warranty, which I believe is the CA law, to remediate the active infestation and replace/sister the studs.
The two man crew that came out to the house was incredible! They addressed all my needs and concerns, were polite, and quick/efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon them again if same crew were used. Thanks guys!

I had some properties to sell and wanted to get termite inspections on them so I'd know what to expect when I sold them. I contacted a different termite company whose inspector took the poker that he had and did his best to expand the damage he saw AND CAUSED, so that it would motivate me to go with them quickly. For whatever reason, I had passed Coastline's office and asked them to go to one of my properties as a 2nd opinion.
They did, and they way they handled it was so different that I just had a good feeling about them. One of the houses I sold used them and was very pleased. I had them come to my house to re-inspect, and again, I liked the honest way in which i was treated. I got the formal inspection from them which included wood repair and replacement. Since I have aluminum shingles which look delicate to me, the owner, Ken, had his fumigator come to my house to go over exactly the care he would take of my roof when they tented.
I was greatly relieved! My house is on the market now and I decided to have the bad wood (made to look even worse by the OTHER termite guy) replaced. I'm pretty picky. Well, Ken's guys finished a day sooner and their workmanship is over the top GOOD. They primed; they didn't just replace the wood sections where there was damage but each full piece of beam.
The OTHER guy was going to be a patch job and his prices were 40% higher than Ken's! Ken, you've surrounded yourself with a good team. I went back to my realtor and suggested he take you wherever he can! I haven't had my house tented yet but when I do, guess who I'm calling!

Coastline termite treated my home back in June of 2017. Not by my choice. Realtor of the seller recommended them, red flag number 1. Personally checked out the attic of the home myself before purchasing the home, discovered 3 areas of infestation. Coastline checked out the attic after and discovered activity as well - not exactly where I had seen them but they had 'discovered' activity as well nonetheless.
They 'treated' the home and gave it a clearance to pass escrow. In September of 2017, after a long day of work, I came home to drywood termite swarmers all over my upstairs master bathroom. After an investigation up into the attic, I realized Coastline had not treated the areas of infestation up in the attic after claiming to. Now, this wasn't the end of the world - I personally have worked in the termite industry for 5 years.
I gave them the courtesy of actually marking all areas of infestation when I originally inspected it before purchasing the home. BIG chalk markings on each beam in the attic with infestation, I marked directly on the kick-out holes. Not one beam was drilled or had any termiticide applied to it. I have photos for proof with dates. I see this all the time with companies like Coastline.
They are rather cheap and quick to clear a property for their buddies in the real estate industry but zero workmanship to back it up, its all on paper. I personally treated the areas as I was not going to give them a chance to mess it up further, they already proved their incompetence. If I hadn't marked the areas with large visible markings, I would have gave them another shot but it was far too obvious to miss. It's been two years now, going into the second swarm season since treatment and I have not noticed a thing after properly injecting the areas.
If you are looking for a run of the mill fumigation, go with coastline. They will give you the quality fumigation that a hundred other companies will do for you as well. If you are looking for any treatment without fumigation, don't trust their abilities to get the job done properly.

Super shady. They don't do the work stated and wills ign off that they did. We had another company come by to inspect and follow up on what they said they did. The new inspector first stated that their inspection report has alot of fishy items. Several areas where they put no charge for work done but said work was done. New inspector found none of that work done.
New inspector also mentioned that he is aware of this company and that it he has seen plenty of similar complaints about this company. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

Excellent experience! I was referred to Coastline Termite by my real estate agent and couldn't be more happy. Their inspector was able to make it out to our property within 24 hours of calling and the Section 1 work was done, at a great price, less than 3 days after receiving the report. I saw that they were doing MORE work than the report called for, so I went out and asked what was going on (afraid I was going to be charged for more work than I authorized) but it turns out that the crew has such pride in their work that they elected to do a few other repairs that weren't on the report, FOR FREE.
Their work is clean and they were quick. We had a ton of repairs needed (old house, all wood, up against wilderness) but the guys got it done in just 2 days of work. I would HIGHLY recommend Coastline to anyone who needs some work done.

We recently purchased a home, and Coastline Termite completed the termite repairs and tenting. Not only did they have to come back several times, as their work was not thorough, doors went missing from the garage. As they were the only one with a key, it is quite the mystery how this company does not accept any responsibility for the doors vanishing.
I spoke with Ken on the phone, and he could not have been more unprofessional. I would not recommend this company whatsoever. There are plenty of other reputable companies to choose from.

Do not use Coastline Termite! These People Are Thieves. We just bought a house in Costa Mesa so when we hired Coastline to tent the house there was literally nothing there to even steal except doors to the laundry room closet. The doors were previously taken off and placed in the garage when the house was being repainted. The day the termite guys came to tent the house, the doors were in the garage and the day after they left they weren't there!
There was no one else who could have taken the doors. We called to ask them if they had taken the doors and of course they said no. Literally no one else could have possibly taken the doors! Do yourselves and your belongings a favor and hire a different company to do your termites. Who steals doors? I wish I could give 0 stars.

I got three bids for my 1st house that in was selling in Garden Grove. I chose them because they were the lowest price. Now I'm selling my house in Costa Mesa and I chose them again because the service they gave me for the previous sale. They show up on time, professionally dressed and straight to the point. They got the work done with a minimum amount of disruption at the property and all their workers were professional and polite. Great Job Coastal Termite

Coastline was phenomenal. Jean in the office was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The crew did great work. They fumigated and did wood repair. They worked an extra day more than they had scheduled to make sure all the wood repair was finished per the report. The repair crew even repainted a few beams for me at no additional charge. If you are looking for great customer service and quality work, I highly recommend Coastline.

We were THRILLED a friend put us in touch with Coastline. On both of their visits, the guys (Alex, Marco, and Sal) were on-time, courteous, professional, and did an exceptional job! Fortunately, we had no active infestation, but they removed all of the previously damaged wood from the garage, patched the areas that needed re-enforcement, and did a spectacular job cleaning up. Alex even took a sample of the wood during their first visit to match the paint; ALL of the new lumber they installed was pre-painted and matched the inside of the garage perfectly! Additionally, Patrick and Jean in the office couldn't be any nicer to work with. While we hope we won't have a need for Coastline in the future, there is NO question who we'll call if we do; we couldn't be happier with this team!

I'm a local Real Estate Broker and there is no other Termite Company I would ever use for my transactions. They are honest, quick and reasonable. Always exceeding my clients expectations and my own. I appreciate the friendly staff and the down to earth owner. They pay attention to detail and are service oriented. I highly recommend!

I would choose ZERO stars if I could. We used this company to fix termite damage to a home we purchased and they completed almost NONE of the repairs! When asking for proof or evidence of work done, the owner came to our home and quickly stated the work was done and left. - They broke the hatch leading into our attic space - The dry rot next to our vanity was untouched - Window trim that THEY said they would replace was not replaced - They didn't even touch our sprinkler corbel box or front porch beam - They said that they would REPLACE our back french door, but did NOTHING We have contacted them multiple times about completing what they promised and have even been yelled at on the phone by the owner. Please do NOT use this company. They STOLE our money and did not complete any of the work.

I had a good experience with this company as far as customer service. The receptionist was well informed and helpful. She asked me a series of questions and even asked me to email her a picture of the bug that was pestering us. The worker that came to do the inspection was thourough and luckily he wasnt able to find any signs of termites. Then the following day i got another phone call and was informed that it wasnt a termite but a flying ant due to the weather. Good to know.good to know!

I would of put one star if I could, they did the bare minimum with replacing our termite infested wood. It has been over the 2 years for our warranty, but when my husband started to replace pieces of wood on our deck we noticed a lot of rot from termites. They replaced the wood you could see, but let the foundation part untouched. We only saw it, as they would have when we replaced some slats next to the ones they had replaced. The pictures I've posted are from what they left behind. Save your money and go else where

I think maybe just typical termite company that inspects house for termites, then does amateur wood repairs. Had to call them back because they forgot to do the repairs they "signed-off" during escrow. duh! Seems like a fishy operation. Also, found additional termites that were missed during this inspection. How can you sign-off that a house is repaired and termite free when repairs are not completed and there are still untreated termites? So, Ken, the owner, said he would make things right and take care of my house like it was his. Wow!
He must be a complete slob that lives in a dump! The completed work was not-so-good. New boards and posts have big gaps. But, luckily, they had a few gallons of caulking to hide all the poor craftsmanship. Then the painting they performed looked like something a blindfolded monkey would do. Not very happy with this company. Have no interest in them coming back to my house. Will hire a professional to repair and clean-up the work they attempted.
