Colonies frequently migrate from one site to another. The queen needs only half a dozen workers to start a new colony. They can develop a new mound several hundred feed away from their previous location almost overnight. Flooding causes colonies to leave their mounds and float until they can reach land to establish a new mound. Colonies also can migrate to indoor locations.Fire ant builds mounds in almost any type of soil, but prefers open, sunny areas such as pastures, parks, lawns, meadows and cultivated fields. Mounds can reach 18 inches in height, depending on the type of soil. Often mounds are located in rotting logs and around stumps and trees. Colonies also can occur in or under buildings.

Wow I can't say enough about these guys! First off, EXTREMELY professional and wonderful customer service. They took the time to hear our problem and took action on that. I've used Bugs Inc for over a decade at my home and at my businesses. I have NEVER had an issue with them. Think about that, over ten years of interactions, never have had to even complain about a single thing. They were so great at work, that I immediately had them take over my home and any of my friends homes who would ask for a referral. Locally owned and a true pleasure to do business with. For 19 years I had been paying this company for an anual termite contract which it meant that if I found out that my house had termites they would come and get rid of the termites. Well it happened that we got termites, they came out to the house and denied coverage because they were "formosan termites" and I was not covered against those. They tried charging me $1,700 plus taxes so thanks but no thanks.

I'm a real estate agent, I use this company for a termite inspection for a VA home. The inspection report itself was very basic. Luckily I got the mortgage company to accept it. What are the office Latisse was very rude to me and yelled at me over the phone? I had to pay the inspection for my client since my client was out of the country. For some reason, my bank would not cash the check for them.
Which they took 30 days before deciding to try and cash the check. I found out what the total was they also charge me the bounced check fee I paid it. And then the office lady called me back up because I told them in person that I will not be able to use their services anymore. Yes, we have a high quality of service that we like to maintain and professionalism. God forbid if they ever did this to my client and I referred them to them.

We've been dealing with Bugs Inc for close to a year now and they always do a very thorough job. The one time we saw some ants a few weeks after they'd sprayed, they came back and did some spot treatments. Usually though, the guys are super friendly, this time I don't know if the guy was feeling under the weather, but he didn't really say anything and was listening to music on his earphones the whole time. I understand a job being monotonous like this probably is, but the friendly staff is a big part of why we've stayed with the company.

I found my new pest control co Anyone who knows me, knows I'm an indoorsy type because of bugs I called Bugs Inc after they serviced my next door neighbor's home. He didn't try to push me into any contracts, yet gave me options, sprayed all the areas around that give me the heebee-jeebeez & was very professional. I will be setting up regular service. We have had Bugs Inc out for three quarterlies so far, and I am impressed. We had problems with ants and earwigs, and since beginning the treatments, I have not seen bugs in our home. The technician also took the time to address problem areas outside with heavier sprays to make sure we did not have bugs near or in our home. I have been so impressed, I also recommended and had them established to do our quarterlies at my office. All around, they are a great company.
