My mom has had Drake servicing her lawn for several years now and she has been absolutely pleased with what they continue to do. Their technicians are courteous and so kind to her. Always asking if there is anything else she needs and if she is happy with their services. Because my mom's experience has been so positive I recently reached out to get an inspection and quote for my home.

I was so impressed starting with my first phone call and talking with Elena. She was very accommodating and actually scheduled a technician to come to my home the very next morning! Steven arrived on time which to me means "early" and offered to remove his shoes before entering my new home. I like that. It's a sign of consideration. He proceeded to ask me what my concerns were and then explained all the services Drake has to offer.

Not one time did I feel pressured to make a decision. Upon measuring my property Steven discovered a dead opossum that had gotten stuck under a neighbor's fence at the back of my property line. Not only did he choose to inform me about it which he didn't have to but Steven asked if I had a shovel and mask and volunteered to remove the dead animal from my backyard. I was shocked and so very grateful. Signing on the dotted line was a no brainer after that. I am looking forward to a long and positive relationship with Drake.

I was initially happy with the quality of the service. However, this last season, there were several burnt patches in my lawn. When I looked through the service history, it was clear that my lawn had been over fertilized over a short span of time (the service guys were moved around). My normal/standard watering schedule was unable to keep up with the amount of water that was required to feed an over fertilized lawn and therefore ended up getting patchy and ugly.

I called Drake and they sent a manager out (Chris). Chris was not friendly and refused to believe that it was Drake's fault. Did not offer any comp. My money is being wasted here :-(

The people seem to really know their stuff and have corrected the issues with our lawn and shrubs. We use the lawn and shrub treatment, and the irrigation service, and it works very well for us.

With so many different companies out there providing the same or similar services it was hard for me to select one. I finally decided in Drake Lawn & Pest Control because my neighbor's yards and comments were excellent. As for me, I am so glad I finally gave them a try. Drake is providing my pest control and lawn service and I am extremely satisfied. Especially because they have explained everything to me and their prices are affordable. Give them a try and you will find out like I did.

I was referred Drake services by a neighbor because I just moved here and the pest wasp spiders ants bugs were trying to make my home their home. John C. was the 1st inspector that came and took professional pictures to prepare for my initial day to rid the pests. Adam came over and my problems were solved. Drake also offered my neighbor a discount for the referral. It's been 1 week and the pests are gone and they said any problems anytime call them they'll be here. Good people Good deal Thanks Drake!

I hired this company to perform the upgrades on my lawn irrigation system and they are absolutely horrible. I have been trying to get my system completed since last Wednesday and they were scheduled to come out at 9:am on 5/16/22 and they were a no show, no call or nothing, that in my view is very unprofessional. The service managers are a joke and on top of that, they charge you before the work is even started or completed. Do not use! Paul W.

Mike Fisher drove by our house today and saw how terrible our lawn looked and stopped in to pay us a visit. He was very kind and professional. He immediately started assessing our lawn with our permission. He was able to find the root of our previous lawn services mistakes and told us how to fix them. He then surveyed our irrigation system to see why our lawn was in a drought condition.

He made recommendations on how to get better coverage, which sprinkler heads to replace, and with what type of sprinkler head. He just said he was glad to help. So we started a conversation on what Drake Lawn and Pest could offer us. When he showed us the price I couldn't believe what you got for the cost. We signed up immediately and now will save on our monthly bill. Mike was great to work with and we are so glad he stopped by to help us.

I didn't even feel like there was a sales pitch or pressured into signing up for anything. The best part is I am saving money and getting a more personable service. Kudos to Mike. We couldn't be happier.

Excellent customer service. The techs that come out really care about the situation especially when it comes to and insects inside the home. We have been customers since 2006 and have been extremely satisfied. So happy they are back in the lawn care business since that has the same level of service as well.

Just had a great inspection and evaluation of my property. Mike Fisher is an exceptional, consultative representative. I cannot rate the service yet because they haven't began but in regards of explaining what I needed, and why I needed it, Mike was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate this kind of interaction very much and if the service is going to match the level of the rep, I have no doubt we will be happy. Stay tuned for a review on the service and the techs.

My technicians name is: Roberto and with him was a trainee by the name of Sam. Both were so professional and caring. Roberto explained problems I had other than just weeds; explained I had a mole problem he explained what I could have them do to alleviate this and if I went with his recommendation. Sam is learning was helpful and fully willing to pitch in. I couldn't have asked for better technicians. Drake services you've got yourself top notch employees in these two gentlemen.

Drake services are terrible. Grass turns green after a month, then a week later it's brown again. Contracted for irrigation in back yard. Started early Monday, dug up my backyard, left and said they'd return on Thursday. Meanwhile the piles of dirt are killing my sod. Well now I'm told they'll be here between and 1 pm and 2pm, so I doubt they'll be done today.

Very poor customer service. I'll be canceling all services I have with them at my home and rental property. Go with Massey for lawn and pest control services. Oh, one last thing, they charge for services up front, so you lose all leverage in terms of getting things done in a timely manner.

Contacted Drake and the phone representative was helpful and professional, she scheduled a tech to come visit my home in order to provide a quote for termites, lawn, pest control and fertilizer. The rep, Jimmy, who came to our home was on time, thorough and quite knowledgeable! We signed up for their service and received our first lawn treatment within a few days of meeting with their tech. Termite treatment a few days later. great job! professional and timely.

When I saw how nice everyone else's lawn looked, I contacted Drake and someone came right out. He was very polite and professional. The Tech was here within a couple of days and told me everything he was going to do in the yard. He did a great job and answered all my concerns about my yard. I highly recommend Drake. Before Drake I had Massey. You know how Massey's slogan is "expect more and get it". Well I certainly didn't "get it". It may be because the tech in my area is lazy. I've seen him come and go in as little as 10 minutes. Much of my lawn was thin and a lot was yellow. I also had a ton of nut sedge which they didn't treat and I know it is treatable. I keep my irrigation system working well. Drake has made my lawn look like one of the best in the neighborhood.

And when I asked them to spot treat for some weeds between the regular visits, they were very responsive. I read some of the 1 star reviews below and couldn't disagree more. I can tell you that the #1 problem with lawns is lack of water during the hot dry spells and many people don't get good coverage with their irrigation systems. They don't even realize that new rotary heads need to be adjusted to spread the water out because they come set as a long narrow stream.

As long as you have a good working irrigation system, I know that you'll see good results with Drake. Three of my nearby neighbors switched after seeing the results on my lawn and their lawns are also looking much better.

They are highly responsive and come out as many times as I need them. Being roach-phobic if I even see a small one (even if dead) in my pool area I call and they're out immediately. The woman answering the phone is great. Super pleasant and understanding. My dads had them for years and when I moved down I had to have them as well. Love them!

I have had Drake for about 3 years. I was always satisfied until this year. They have gone down hill with customer service. I have called them 4 times to come out and check out my lawn. A lot of the grass is drying up. They were suppose to come out today /04/2021. The called at 9:30 saying they were on their say. Well It's no 3;30 and no one has come out or bothered to call as to why they did not come.

If you are anything like my fiance and I, these reviews supersede ratings or recommendations. Drake was no exception. I searched for hours looking for the right company to service our pest and termite protection needs. Even though Drake has such an incredible rating, the reviews barely did their incredible service justice. We originally got our estimate from Anthony, who thoroughly explained each one of the services, alleviated any health concerns, and the EXACT price that was charged (which is big for first time home buyers.) He found a large amount of droppings that had been missed by our inspector.

He suggested Jon for pest control and Cody for our termite drywood and dusting treatment. Jon was thorough and knowledgeable about the droppings found, identified areas where the pests were entering the home/garage, and mitigated all openings. He was extremely professional, kept his mask on, and answered all questions we had. Codi did an incredible job digging the trench around our home and made sure we were fully protected.

When dusting inside the walls, he kept the areas he dusted clean and tidy. Cody was also very professional, kept his mask on and answered all questions. We are very pleased with our service and look forward to many years of having Drake protect our home.

I have had this company for about 6 months for lawn and shrub care. First and foremost I have had to call and remind them to schedule me for my bimonthly spray 3 times. Apparently the scheduler is suppose to do this but not once did this happen. Then spoke with the manager in the Deland area and was told I was put on his schedule for him to come out and speak with me personally and again this never happened. Waited around for him on 3 different days that he was "scheduled" to come out and never showed up. Clearly the two departments need to speak with each other. Would not recommend this company for lawn care.

Wish I could rate LOWER than a 1 with this group! Came in ALL TALK in October 2020. I had dead spots in my lawn, some weed growth - not really that bad but needed attention. DRAKE: "Oh yeah we can take care of this! Easy to correct you just need to give us 3 months and it'll be fine!" (of course there was the "initial" advanced treatment that needed to be done for $150) THEN your payments start! January 2020 - My lawn looks NO DIFFERENT than when they began their "service" LOL Of course this has cost me a few hundred dollars to find out that this company SUCKS! I've done better in the past with Scotts Bonus fertilizer myself!

And THAT DIDN'T cost me anywhere near even $100 They TALK a good story but couldn't save a drowning person using a boat, life preservers and diving equipment! VERY INEPT! BUYER BEWARE!

We have had Drake since we moved early December 2019. Our grass is full of flowers, ie weeds. I have an infestation of ants that they can't control. The employees are very nice but i seldom see them. I don't think their products are any good. I am done!

This is the most overpriced, hard sell, add on sales, bad service company I have ever used. To start I don't care the price. I want excellent service. I canceled the lawn and fertilizer service first because my lawn was in terrible shape. I kept the outside bug service. That one part was actually good. The bad is they were doing bait traps for small varmets outside and forgot to do that part. I have now cancelled all our service came out of Orlando.

I am very displease with my service that I am getting by Drake Lawn and Pest Control Service at this time. Nelson is great but the service that I was promised is not what I am getting at this time. I was advised by a technician to re-sod my entire front and back yard which I did. My lawn looked great for a week or so then it started to look worse day by day.

The company is not cheap for the service so I expected to be the best. I was offered the shrubs service which I got as well. One of my bushes is dying after they started the service. I have attempted to contact Mr. Williams which I was told he was one of the managers. Craig and Mr. Williams both contacted me and assured me that the lawn was going to be fix. I am hoping the company makes it right but if not I'm going to cancel my service and update this post so other people can be aware of the service.

I was told by my landscaper that this company was a good pick to care for my lawn. Wow, what a mistake that was. After 9 months my lawn looks like no one cared for it. I called them and asked for a refund or a free treatment. I have not heard one word from this company. BEWARE

I've had the initial free inspection completed and was greeted by Nelson (the best) Ramos at the exact scheduled time. He was knowledgable, kind, helpful, and made me feel extremely confident in Drake's services. I signed up for bi-monthly service and look forward to continue working with this company.

I originally contacted Drake Termite & Pest Control through a Groupon ad. After their visit, we agreed to a bimonthly service to treat the inside and or exterior house. What we found, was that they would show up to treat the home without notifying us and if we were not home, they would leave a bill on the door. We continued to pay for each visit until I realized I was throwing my money away for services that may or may not have occurred.

On their last service visit, I happened to be home. I heard my dogs barking for a period of time so I looked out the window and saw the Drake van parked in front of my house. The gentleman sat in his van for approximately 45 mins and never came out. I kept waiting for him to get out of the van but he just sat inside. Within 5 mins of my last check, the van was gone.

I thought that was strange, so I stepped out to see if I could see his van down the street. As I walked back to the house, I noticed a bill hanging on my door for $70. I was shocked, to say the least! I immediately called their office and explained what just happened. The receptionist told me that I would not be charged for this service, and informed me that I should receive a call from the manager (Brandon).

The following day I received a call from Brandon after explaining what happened, he informed me that he came by my house (again, no one was home) and he said he could not see anything out of the ordinary and that everything seemed fine. Not only did this make me feel as if I was not telling the truth, but I found this very unprofessional. He said he would send a different person to retreat the home.

I told him not to send anyone unless someone was home to meet them. Of course, they showed up again, unannounced. When I got home, I received a bill on the door. Unfortunately, how many times have they come to the home and just sat in the van and billed me for services? Not only was I perfectly clear with the manager, Brandon that I did not want them to service the home unless someone was home, but I also felt this whole experience was handled poorly.

I paid the last bill and asked them to cancel my services. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a way to reach their corporate office to share this poor service. Does anyone know how I can reach out to the corporate office?

We had Drake Termite & Pest Control for inside the house and the lawn. We agreed to a bi-monthly service (should mean every 8 weeks), but they started to come already after 5 weeks (with charging every time 78$). They came only inside the house the first time, after that I always only found a bill on my door. Never came into the house again. Needless to say we had the same amount of roaches with or without the service.

So I cancelled the pest control. Last spring I also cancelled the lawn service. My grass never looked that bad then it did after Drake took care. Of course they didn't agree they made a mistake. If you want to throw your money out of the window - you can do it without signing up with them.

Should've read the reviews before booking. We're new homeowners and got a Groupon since we didn't know what was what in the area. Tech said we needed an additional $150 for the treatment of German roaches, which included 2 months of "just in case calls". On a rainy Saturday a tech came for their outside bi-monthly service, which we did not request.

Not only that, but they couldn't get to the backyard and only did the front. I called to request a refund and cancellation of future services and the manager, Craig, said that our contract stated we agreed to said service. I explained that the tech had said it would be $78 should we choose to get the bi-monthly service. He simply wrote it down on the same paper of the original agreement.

The manager was very irate and did not give us a refund. I hope Craig and his company benefit from my, and other people's (according to these posts) $78. The techs were super nice, but I can't justify taking $78 just because your tech was nice enough to leave everything on the same page.

Back in April, we scheduled a tech to come for german Roach service. The Tech told us there is $150 one time fee and for the next 3 months, we can call them out for additional service for free. Fast foward to June which is only 2 months later, we received a bill for $78 that we did not ask for service in June. Called the office and they said they do not offer 3 months and they bill by bi-montly.

So who should i trust? the Tech or the office? Did the tech lie to my face in order to get the sale? Called and waited for manager to call me back since Monday 6/19. I am really do not like how this whole thing start out.

Very disappointed! I had purchased a Groupon to try them out and the gentleman came over, treated our house and was very professional. At the end he tried to get me to sign up for a paid recurring monthly service. I told him that I wanted to wait first and see how the treatment actually worked before committing to and paying for more sessions. About 5 days later, the bugs started coming back.

I called to let them know because their paperwork states "100% satisfaction guaranteed" and that they will come back and make it right or your money back. The lady on the phone said "well did you sign up for our monthly service?" I told her no (what I mentioned above) and she said "well since you didn't sign up for the monthly service and just bought a Groupon, there is no guarantee to our work." I am curious as to how they expect to GAIN customers for a monthly recurring program if they refused to provide any follow up or make right on their services.

The technician who came over even said that he would follow up within 10 days to make sure that we were satisfied and that there were no issues. I'm not quite sure how we went from wanting to make sure we were happy to "sorry you're out of luck." I'm very very disappointed. I would have gladly become a recurring customer if they had provided a good experience, but they have left me believing that nothing about their services are satisfactory and if I had a problem, no one would care to fix it. Buyer beware.

Ruined the interior of our home due to negligence. Nobody in the company cares, to make matters worst they use a second rate insurance company that will not pay for over $20k in damages. There are a lot more choices out there, don't make the same mistake we did.

Drake pest control is a good company and I have been with them for 4 years. They believe in customer satisfaction and if anything goes wrong they correct the issue. I have recommend them to several people and never heard anything but good things. Use there service with confidence.

We had Drake for less then a year. We came back from vacation to find chemical burns on 1/3 of my front yard. they sent out someone to look at it and he said it was a water coverage issue. I will never recommend them again to anyone. they never called me back after I had 3 different companies come out and tell me it was chemical burns. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR LAWN KILLED. Their slogan of satisfaction guaranteed is a big joke.

From start to finish, this is a great company. I wanted my home taken care of and was weary about having people in and out of my house/yard but everyone including the office staff to the sales man who met with me all the way to the courteous technician have all been wonderful. Anytime they come out for a scheduled service they knock on the door and greet me, explain what service they're performing that day and ask if I have any questions or concerns. Couldn't be more satisfied!

Drake Pest Control was a referral from a friend. We used them for almost a year taking care of our yard and scrubs and never had a problem. Their last visit they burned several large spots in our yard and ruined two ornamental bushes. We canceled them right about this time (cancellation had nothing to do with the burns). After two visits and several phone calls over a 5 week period they have decided that someone else came on to our property and took the time to spray both the front and back yards and those are the people responsible. I cannot recommend this company.
