I emailed about a follow up and they were able to send out a tech the next day. The tech, Danny, called me to let me know he was on the way which I always appreciate so I can put the dogs up. Tech was very friendly and more than happy to address the problem areas and did a really thorough job of finding and taking care of the problem spots. Really great job.

Spoke with a representative this morning, said they would call back at 10am to schedule a consultation/assessment estimate, and also said they would text me their info so I would have their info, never called back, it is now 2 hours later, and no text message, this is how you do business apparently, I communicated the issue I had was urgent and that Orkin failed me miserably, I guess you provide the same awful service they did, I am going with Mills Pest control, do not bother with this company, they are unprofessional, untrustworthy and NOT about Customer Service, even when I called back to alert them no one called back, the receptionist acted like it was no big deal, never apologized and could care less, that is awesome for an impression of your company, first line of contact FAILED MISERABLY.

Robert has consistently taken great care in providing insect control for our home for the past 2 years. Knock on wood, we haven't had an ant infestation in the house since! He is always professional in his manner and knowledgable in his field. We appreciate that he explains what it is that he will be doing and graciously answers any questions we might have.
Without fail, he calls just before arrival so that we can open the back gate and bring our dog in. And if we forget to put her water bowl away, he'll take care of that, putting it upside down, completely away from any areas being sprayed. Lloyd Pest Control is truly fortunate to have such a conscientious employee representing them.

Quentin arrived after a few hours of me calling in the service. He came into our house and caught the rat in 5 minutes! This is the second time we have had Quentin at our house to catch a rat our cats have brought into the house. Both times he was fast and efficient and took care of everything. He even took the doors off the laundry room and put them all back again, as if he was never there. I highly recommend him!

Anthony came with a smile and great service! I am so glad I called Lloyd Pest Control a couple of months ago when I started to become invaded with ants. After the first application in my home, it only took one more visit for me to see that there were no more ants in my house. It has taken a few tries to fully eliminate the nests outside but whenever I have had to call for an extra boost of ant protection, Lloyd's has given me great customer service both on the phone and in the field. Highly recommended!

I have used Lloyd Pest Control for over 20 years. The technicians tend to stay and interactions with them have a very personal feel. My first experience with Lloyd's 20 years ago was regarding subterranean termites and a clean bill of health that the previous exterminator company had given my home at the time of sale. I called Lloyd Pest Control when termites were literally coming out of the wall behind the refrigerator.
The technician advised me to take photos, tape up the wall and get the Pest Control Board out right away. Everything was taken care of and the negligent company paid for tenting etc. Lloyd's stands out as a company has a level of integrity that you don't see a lot these days.

My mom has been using Lloyds for years. Mostly they have given us great service. However we have an infestation of mice in our garage. Someone came last Friday to set traps. Saturday morning we checked and there were about 10 that were trapped. I called and was told someone would be there between 8:30 and noon. No one came or called. I had let them know to call when they got there as our doorbell was charging.
At 1pm I called only to find they were closed. Called an emergency number even though it said they could not handle customer service calls. They helped me anyway so kudos and thanks to them. Someone called and sent out David Corona to collect the traps. He is a great guy and has been very helpful to us! A big kudo and 5 stars to David Corona. I think it would be a comfort to customers if they would have a monitored message machine for emergencies like this. I have had many mice and rats as pets and hated doing this but for safety reasons it had to be done. David is taking care of us and I am grateful to him!

Lloyd's Pest Control did an excellent job! Paul gave us a very competitive but reasonable quote for the job and answered all my questions and texts very quickly and efficiently. We had 3 total estimates. Robert and Juan made a great team. Juan was a Master Craftsman that took great pride in his work. His wood replacement and repairs were masterfully done.

The local pest control company I've had for several years sold their company to Lloyd Pest Control. As first the service was great. However, last time I received a call 15min prior to arrival, without arranging the service in advance. Since I work and have two dogs I needed to be home during the service. Today they came to spray and I told John that I had dogs locked inside during service and to let me know when he was ready to spray on my deck.
He didn't spray on the main level deck, he just sprayed downstairs and left. When I called his answer was 'I'm sorry I mis understood, I'll get it next time'. But he had no trouble charging me for a full service. Today when I called to cancel service I was put on hold for 10 minutes. Then I called back and they said 'no problem we will cancel your service'. I guess 'customer service' isn't important!

We have used Lloyd's for years in the 55 unit complex I have managed. 1st time a technician went over and above and did his monthly spray the way he's actually suppose to! Jesus was seriously the best! You can't find people like this now a days! I am so happy finally we got a technician that is doing what he gets paid to do and loves it and does it right! These guys keep up on my 2 houses. In the mountains the field mice are a huge problem with making your homes and cars their homes. i must point out, some technicians make a quick run and they are gone with the wind but Francisco really takes the time and does thorough, excellent service everytime. Horrible! They missed termites on our home inspection report! We hired Lloyd Pest to do our home inspection report before buying our house in Carlsbad. They cleared it of termites and said there was minimal dry rot. When I called to have it fixed, the guy laughed and said "don't worry, just fix when you move in". Two weeks after we moved into it our house, we watched termites fall from our recessed lighting, located near the dry rot damage.
They refused to admit that it was missed and said if I would've got the dry rot fixed they would've covered the tenting. They found the recording of me asking the agent about getting it fixed and decided it wasn't their responsibility anymore and refused to pay for any part of the service. As a new homeowner, the lack of customer service and support from Lloyd and the manager, Na-em truly doesn't leave faith for trusted local companies. Please be cautious, they are non responsive & customer service and quality work is NOT their top priority.

For the last five years Lloyd Pest Control in the San Diego area managed pests exceptionally well on my acre of land with four separate buildings. My property in North Poway had challenges with rats in the barn, Black Widow spiders in the Guesthouse & Main House, ants in the kitchen areas & termites in all the buildings. Storm was my service technician.
He always texted me notice of upcoming appointments, used pet safe products & did a thorough job. If I needed an extra appointment for an invasion of pests, he always came within 24 hours. I would recommend this company & this service technician for any problems with pest management.

We normally get routine service at our home and for that reason we have never had any roaches or any other pests except for a spider, every now and then. It is for this reason that we had a full service treatment this week. Our Service Technician this month was Paul Perez and let me tell you, Paul is very detailed and takes the time to make sure everything is covered right.
I have never had any problem with the service from any of our technicians from Lloyd's Pest Control, so I am going to make a concentrated effort to post about the excellent service that Lloyd's Pest Control provides as well as provide the names of these great Technocians. Paul Perez should be a Supervisor or at least get a raise, his service an attention to detail are phenomenal.

Our house was robbed during the termite tenting. Fairly certain it was an inside job. We signed paperwork that relieved them of any responsibility in the event our house was robbed. The neighbors surveillance camera showed the robbers to have the same height/build and walk as the workers. It's also suspicious that the robbers would know when it was safe to enter? Danny from Lloyd pest control told me I needed to remove my balcony fencing as it could be "damaged" during the tenting, but I refused.
I could always repair and it didn't make sense to do twice the work of taking it down and rebuilding it. The robbers broke in by scaling my neighbors balcony and going through the window. Overall horrible experienc, left feeling completely violated and no one is liable. Do your research and make sure you trust your termite company!

Our termite inspector, John, was very professional and on-time. His communication was solid prior to our scheduled visit and during the inspection. His explanations were at a level that I could comprehend and he answered all my questions (and I had a few)! Kudos to Lloyd Pest Control. Lloyds always provides great service and takes the time to educate us on what they're doing and why. They come out once a quarter to spray mostly for ants and spiders around the perimeter of our house. Used them for years. Their techs are professional and so nice! Highly recommend! They suck. Support any other place but Lloyd. We called for service yesterday and they said someone would be here between 8-12pm. No call no show. Then the property managers said they were going to call and have someone come at 3:30. That turned into 5, then 5:30, then 6:00 u til finally they called and cancelled because his boas told him to "call it a day" after a dead battery, flat tired and car accident.

I have used Lloyds for ongoing preventative care for years. However, they did not prevent and then could not find the rat infestation in my house for months. The rats did thousands of dollars worth of damage and each person the came by contradicted what the previous Lloyds employee said. When the rodent was caught (after being found by my handyman), they picked up the rat and did not clean any of the feces.
After years of being a customer, I canceled my account and will never use them again. They simply took my money for years and didn't even flinch when I called to explain the issue.

We bought a quarterly service for both ants and rodents. Our house resides near canyons and we get snakes, ants, rodents, spiders and the like. For a couple years now, ants have been the culprit when it comes to our pantry items and trash. The past summer, we have had additional visitors (rats and mice) that we decided to include rodents with our quarterly service.
For ants, our first service is when they come to the house to assess where the ants are coming from and where they are going. We found ants in our pantry/kitchen and in our bathrooms. The tech came out and placed bait near those areas as well as outside. He forewarned us that we will see an influx of ants since they are taking the bait and to not be concerned.
They will take the bait and bring it back to the queen et al. We did see a bunch of ants come out but after a couple days all the ants disappeared. Suffice to say, since we started the quarterly service, we have not had any any problems since (and it's been 2 years). During a service, we get a notification that our tech will be arriving. You don't need to be home but the tech does need access to your backyard.
The tech will come and assess as well as sweep the porch areas for any webs, etc, then the tech will spray. The tech takes about 30-45 mins and leaves an invoice at your door. Then you're done! We added rodents since we had a few issues with mice and rats. There are 2 options whereby they set up traps or use poison. With 2 little ones, we decided on the traps.
Within the first couple days, there have been 2 caught in the traps. We contacted customer service to let them know and they came out the next day to empty them. We have had only good experiences so far. Our tech is Alonso and he is very thorough and provides education on the process. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure yet about this company. I may update my review. Various people have come by to check traps under the house, which is good, but there are no catches (I could have laid traps myself). Are there other approaches to catching rodents? They don't trap larger animals like opossum or skunk. They've also sprayed for spiders & bugs which is good.
I have to contact them directly if I have anything to point out or discuss because the technicians are in & out so quick I rarely see them. This is my first time using a pest control company so I was expecting more results because I know we have rats.

Very disappointing service. Our company had to close for several months during Covid, and Lloyd Pest Control was unwilling to stop service even though they could not enter our building. We had to pay for service during months that we were closed and not bringing in revenue. I would not recommend their service!

We chose Lloyds to fumigate our home based on their reviews and it was a disaster for us and we would not recommend Lloyds to anyone. Also, BEWARE of "ELITE FUMIGATION" the sub-contractor to Lloyds who UNKNOWING to us did the work. John from Lloyds NEVER made us aware during our meeting and paperwork that they use Sub's. They used a sub contractor to perform our home fumigation and this company was the WORST.
They caused damage to our property, and caused us physically painful Eye burning the day and night after they removed their tent over our house and told us it was ok to go back inside. ( FERNANDO) was the person who did the work and told us it was safe to go back inside when it wasn't. 1 - We had property damage (Parts of Shrubs began dying a few days after they left, ) Likely leaking fumigation gas to the outside. 2 - They disconnected our TV Cable line and NEVER re-connected it.
We found it laying against our fence. 3 - ( MOST SEVERE ISSUE) We experienced severe eye burning beginning the 1st day within the 1st hour of Fernando removing the tent and our staying inside the house. When Fernando told us it was safe to go inside, he walked in, opened windows and said "Its ok to go inside now, just keep the windows open.". We did.
But the eyes burning began just after about 20 mins. We would go outside again and wait a bit longer hoping it would clear but it didn't. We called John, Lloyds contact and he said "Call ELITE FUMIGATION". Don't understand why Lloyds didn't quarterback this urgent issue and told us to "Call ELITE FUMIGATION" (Who we had NO RELATIONSHIP WITH NOR WERE WE AWARE THEY WOULD BE DOING THE WORK.
Reading ELITE FUMIGATIONS REVIEWS NOW, AFTER THE FACT, WE NEVER WOULD HAVE PERMITTED THEM ON OUR PROPERTY). Why John\Lloyds didn't take care of this is UNFORGIVABLE. So we called this ELITE FUMIGATION company and some young woman who does not seem to care to much for those on the other end of the line said, she would get back to me. We then spoke with Fernando and he said it was some tear gas still in the home and it would go away, just use the fans.

The damaged shrubs, the disconnected Cable line is not permanent but the physical painful eye burning was both painful and scary, causing us to have to leave the home beginning the first night, and seeking treatment for our burning eyes. I had been postponing tent fumigation for years, dreading the process. Daniel and the entire crew at Lloyd (and SDGE too!) made the process as efficient, safe, and hassle free as possible. Phone system stupid (they used a bunch of acronyms that were foreign to me and answer in LA for San Diego service) However, the technicians provide great service, completely customer oriented. Pest control can be a very personal issue. I mean after all they're going in your house looking for pests in all the cracks and crevices. Lloyd reps understand that.

They sent me a refund check for the charge, and apologized, saying that they had difficulty with the transition since they bought Borite last year. They also sent me a letter confirming that I had paid for my yearly termite contract and that it was current.

I hired this company to get rid of the fleas in my yards caused by stray cats. They came back over and over again until the fleas were gone. I was happy. I called them to get a termite issue taken care of. The have set up 2 different appoints on different days and BOTH times the person has NOT shown up. The first appointment I took time off work to meet the person. (Lost wages.) This send appointment I was home all day and they didn't show up again. Termite side of this company is abysmal. Look else where I know I am!
