William is really great and very courteous and professional. He made sure to thoroughly check to see if there were any signs of another problem that I thought I might have. He brought Tyone with him who checked again, even after William looked. I can't thank these two technicians, or Viking, enough for being extra helpful and caring to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

James is fantastic! He is our usual representative. Today he came out because we had ants coming in the kitchen and found some yellow jackets inside. He inspected our home and land to identify where the jackets were coming from and fixed the problem. He is incredibly thorough. Highly recommend! We had a pest problem and they came and didn't do much. We did more killings than they did. Spent $370 on this poor service. Called up and said they can't do a refund and asked to speak to management and she said no and hung up quickly. Very upset I wasted $370 on this service! Crooks! Do not use this company if you have a pest problem. Wasted my money!

We called Viking because we had an invasion of Ants. We got service with in 48 hrs of making the call. Our tech Eric Baker came in asked us questions to better understand our concerns. Did a treatment. Explained the process and told us that if we are still havint concerns in 7 to 10 days to call them back to re treat. Very professional and respectful.

Kenny, the service tech was great. Very knowledgeable about the issues we were having and have eliminated those problems in his first visit. He came back today on our second visit with him and checked up on the initial problem areas and we assured him we have not seen any intruders since. He still laid a couple sticky pads by problem areas just to be sure no unwelcome guests enter. Pleasure having him guard our home!

The first visit was great. I was skeptical at first because in opinion they didn't do what I thought they were supposed to do. But then again I don't know what they were supposed to do. I was basing it on the exterminators on TV. However, whatever they did it worked extremely well. The follow-up visit wasn't so great. I live in a 2 family home and the guy was supposed to check upstairs and downstairs.

He knew I was home because when he arrived I opened the door. He came upstairs and knocked on my door but I didn't hear it. He made no effort to reach me. He just left. I even tried to call him because he was still here but he didn't answer the phone. I was so hoping they sent the first guys who came out. I really hope they don't send the guy who came today. Their service is great providing you get the right technician

It is very disappointing that when you have an appointment scheduled and they call you 2 hours into your 4 hour appointment block to cancel. Reason being they no longer service my area even though they are literally 8 minutes down the road. I will not be contacting them again.

We loved Dirks when we started with them. The employees were kind, and it was easy to get in contact if we needed to speak with someone or schedule an appointment. Everything went downhill when Viking took over. Whenever we had service we were always notified when someone would be over, because we would have the inside serviced as well. Unfortunately, when it was switched to Viking, we were never notified for services.

There was miscommunication and it was extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. In the beginning, we thought it was just an adjustment issue. The same issue of not notifying us of when we would get serviced would happen several times. At first they advised me it was because I was not set up with their online website. I did everything they asked, set up my phone number, email, etc.

They still would come unannounced or send a message that they were coming and we would advise it was bad time and rescheduled for another day, but the tech would still come out on the day we were not available. Another thing that bothered us was they would move the service up a few weeks when they switched to Viking. We were on a schedule of every three months to get the house serviced, but they would have someone come and service us a few weeks ahead of time.

We canceled Dirks/Viking because of their customer service. Whenever we would call, we couldn't get a hold of someone or when we did, they did not have the answers. Our call was always bumped to someone else. Dirks was a small business that we enjoyed using, once they joined Viking, it became more of a corporation that really didn't care for their customers and we felt like a number.

We hope that Viking can take our feedback and make changes for their future customers. 9/28/21 update We did received contact from Viking after posting this review. They did correct the issue we had and closed our account. We are glad they responded to this review immediately and took responsibility. They took our feedback seriously and we hope it continues with their current and future customers.

Have bed bugs? Call Viking right away! We picked up bed bugs on a vacation in Massachusetts. After trying to get rid of them ourselves didn't work we decided to call professionals. I'm glad I called Viking! All of the people we have dealt with have been great. The first person I spoke to clearly went over the process and cost. Then onto scheduling which was a breeze.

All of the technicians showed sympathy for what we were going through and listened to and took care of our concerns. They give a 60 day warranty after the second service. My wife got bit again after the second service and they didn't hesitate to send over a tech to take care of it. We have been bite free for a couple of weeks now. I can't recommend them more for bed bug service!

I was using Dirk's Pest Control before Viking acquired them. Not the same service. On a scheduled maintenance program. Sent them 2 emails, because I like things in writing, no response to either. the tech drop some pellets around the house, then gone. I asked for a tree stump to be treated, nope. Typically Dirks would spray around the whole base of the house, garage and eaves. Then sprinkle pellet bait around house too. I will be cancelling my service. What a shame! Note: really less then a star, but no choice.

John M was very helpful and responsive with getting an appointment set up for me when we had a wasp nest pop up on us. We have used them for "emergency " visits before and they came out quickly to help our problem, in addition to our scheduled maintenance! Services: Ants, Bees, Hornets or wasps

I highly recommend Viking Pest Control! We had a severe ant problem, they were coming into the house and biting my daughter whose room faces the front of the house. We have woods behind us and have also a severe amount of mosquito's. We were in contract with another company who was trying to rid us of ants and mosquito's but the bugs never stopped coming!

When I called Daniel P. he was so welcoming, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. THE DAY Viking was here from 9am-1:30pm for the inside and outside service the bugs were GONE. I could swing my grandson on the swing without mosquitoes and saw no ants at all, it was wonderful but almost eerie how gone they were. One of the products they used was environmentally safe, it had lemongrass in it. The technician who came who's name was Brian was very professional and informed. Have been using Dirks for a few years and were satisfied with their services until taken over by Viking. We recently had an uptick in mice and ant activity only to have our voicemails go unanswered even though we pay for quarterly service.

Dirks recently merged with Viking, which took me by surprise. However, I got the same level of service I have been used to. The technician came out and addressed my concerns, and was very respectful and courteous. Most of all, I was impressed with his knowledge. I had an ant infestation, and I have not seen a single ant since the treatment. I am very satisfied.

I met with a technician named Ryan who seems to be very knowledgeable but to the point of being condescending and arguing with me to make his point repeatedly in front of my house guest. What was described to me and explained was done in a misleading way about the services that were to be performed. As a result I called to speak with someone to go over exactly what should have been expected for the money I paid.

I spoke with the Owner who was still, after 30 minutes, only interested in boosting about the reputable work her company does and her extra curricular volunteer work. I wasn't calling to question anyone's character, I called to talk only about the services I paid for. Dirk's was not interested in resolving this manner in any way. As a result I am very disappointed and will not be a repeat customer.

Family run business that demonstrates pride in their work. They came when they promised, charged a fair price and made follow up calls. Highly recommend!

Was very professional, worked quickly, kept me informed, and defined how the quarterly service would happen. Was also considerate of my having pets at home and how to work service around them. We had a serious problem with powder post beetles found in our brand new hardwood floors. Dirks identified the problem, provided multiple solutions and worked with me and the flooring company to develop the best solution for everyone which involved removing the existing hardwood floors, Dirks treating the underlying subfloor to kill any remaining beetles and larva and finally installing the new floor.

It all took a lot of coordination between the flooring company the new home builder and Dirks made themselves available to fit the schedule as it evolved. The folks from Dirks were great to work with and I couldn't recommend their service more highly.

I had the Technician Ryan come out to my house after I found a few mice. He was on time, very kind and quick. He calmed me down about my situation and let me know it wasn't as bad as I was thinking it was and helped me find a plan that was affordable and worked for my needs. I recently started using Dirks Pest Management for a small apartment complex I manage. Their contract prices were very similar to other pest control companies, and I feel you definitely get your money's worth with Dirks. Whenever a pest issue arises, I simply call Dirks, I know someone will answer the phone, or if I leave a message they will respond in a timely manner. The technicians are always professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dirks for your pest control needs.

I found Dirks Pest Management on google when I was trying to find an exterminator. I had originally called Orkin and set an appointment up with them but canceled the next day because the prices were outrageous and that's when I found Dirks. I called Dirks and they were able to come out the next day! Dennis arrived and was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

We ended up signing up for the quarterly plan they offer. A few days later we received a call from one of the owners to see if we had any questions. You don't get this kind of service with big companies, only family owned businesses who really care about their customers! I would definitely recommend Dirks to anyone who needs pest control. Dirks are sanity savers. Allow me to explain. My first experience with Dirks was as a renter. My landlord hired them for quarterly pest maintenance on the property, and I was always pleased with their professionalism. When I bought a house and started seeing creepy crawlies, I remembered Dirks and called them up. I've been using them for over a year now and have been very impressed by their customer service and knowledge.

They are always timely and helpful, and they really make an effort to get out to solve problems (like this year's fly and bee infestations) as quickly as possible. They always tell me what I need to know ("Those are fake black widow spiders.") and never what I don't ("You could have been eaten alive by killer ants!"). Instead of spending $20+ on random cans of Raid and risking my safety and sanity when a problem pops up, I can call Dirks. That is more than worth it. I suggest you give them a try.

Great company and very nice! Dominic came out and was very thorough and explained everything regarding the safety of the chemicals etc for my children and my pets. He was at my house for over an hour and sprayed everywhere and did the outside also and places I told him about that were concerning. He made me feel very comfortable. I contacted Dirks Pest Management for their help with the mice problem which just started in one wall of my house. The business responded to my request super quick, and everyone I spoke on the phone was so courteous and professional. Pest management specialist Sean came out to my house one day after my request, and inspected the house thoroughly. He set up secure temper proof traps in the basement, attic and outside of my house.

He also pointed out possible entry points, so that those can get fixed. I can say that I slept so peacefully last night because I knew the mice problem has been taken of. Such peace of mind! Sean was so knowledgeable, professional and polite to work with. I simply love getting wowed to death. If you are in the mood for "death by spectacular service", call these guys RIGHT NOW! I called them on Thursday to schedule to have someone come out and spray my house for carpenter bees. The person on the phone was knowledgeable, friendly, and simply, "easy." I set up my appointment for the next day, Friday, between 11am and 1pm.

A Specialist named Sean Hannon showed up right on time. He was friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything. He even marveled just how "terrible my carpenter bee infestation was". Here we are 4 hours later and all the carpenter bees have bid adieu! Their number is now on speed dial in my phone under "Exterminator."

We live in an older home which was vacant for a year before we moved in so needless to say, there were spiders and house centipedes everywhere. Dirks Pest Mgmt came out and took care of the problem! First they were extremely nice and very professional. During the visit, they showed me where the pests were coming in and tips on how to prevent that in the future.

They explained what they were doing and what chemicals they were using. We had the treatment done in July and its now the end of September and what a difference! I rarely see a spider (even in the unfinished basement) and I think I've seen maybe 2 centipedes since July. I am so pleased with them that I've recommended them to everyone I know. I was having bee & ant issues at house and called Dirks Pest Management. They were able to quickly come out, access the situation and recommend a plan of attack. Through the process they were able to fully explain the reason behind all the work they would conduct and what I might expect. They were very through in their approach by pointing out areas of concern around the house.

They made sure to check all levels of the house to look for signs of issues. They were able to treat the house the same day of the estimate. It has been a few weeks since the service and I can proudly say that there have been no bee or ant issues since! They treated both the outside and inside of the home and even sprayed under my deck.
