Abyss Pest Control

My building contracts Abyss, I would not use them otherwise. They are slow to respond to requests and even after having my entire kitchen fumigated I was still seeing pests. The agent was not on time and clearly did a poor job.

This place sucks! I've been having them spray for roaches at my apartment for the last 8 years and they can never seem to get rid of them. I had them here yesterday 08/14/2020 and some rude old man started spraying my walls very unprofessional and disrespectful talking to my wife like she was a kid or something! If I could I'd give them negative stars! They never fix the problem and it just keeps getting worse and worse every year.

We worked with Jose at Abyss Pest Control on a recent project, and we were very pleased with the quality of service, professionalism, and transparency that we experienced. We wanted to rodent-proof our home and get it inspected for past or live termite activity. The inspection was very thorough and detailed. It was great to be able to get questions answered and have the process explained while the inspection was taking place. Ultimately, the report and recommendations provided were very clear and reasonable. We followed Abyss' recommendations and had them perform the necessary follow-up work, which was scheduled and done on time and as described.

Jose was prompt and professional. He was also the cheapest guy I could find in the area. I highly recommend him!

I am not impressed. I called twice to arrange service. Left messages on their voicemail service never having had my call answered and have never been called back.

Ross at Abyss helped us out a few years ago with a rat problem. He was able to help us get rid of our pests within a few days-- he set a bunch of traps and offered to seal up the house vents where they were getting in. I told him I could do it no problem after he showed me how. He gave me his cell number and a few days after the traps were set, he returned and removed the dead rat we caught.

I called him a few days after that and we had caught 4 rats outside our house and one inside. Fast forward a few years and he just left after spraying for ants. He's a super nice guy, professional and courteous. Abyss is the only pest control service I will be calling. 5 stars.

We found ourselves with an unexpected rodent infiltration. We were completely horrified. Abyss Pest Control was the second company I talked to. Jose was so professional, accommodating of my schedule, and their rates were much more competitive than another company with high yelp reviews in my area. Most importantly Jose was punctual, and got the job done essentially from one day to the next (we caught the little sucker!). I hope I will not need to call them for this issue again, but they will my go-to company for the next bug/pest issue to come around my house.

They were so friendly and professional! They arrived right when they said they would. Super helpful and knowledgeable. I will be using them again should I ever need to. Also when I first called to set it up they even took the time to send me some options on what I was finding to give me some peace of mind.

These guys couldn't be any more unprofessional! Not sure how they received ANY good reviews and unfortunately, I can't really comment on the quality of their services, BECAUSE THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AT THE APPOINTED TIME, NOR DID ANYONE EVEN BOTHER TO EXTEND THE COURTESY OF A RETURN CALL. Yes, I did try calling for several hours after they were supposed to be at my house and yes, I kept getting their voice mail and leaving messages; finally quit and called another exterminator. Flakes!

5 STARS FOR THEM. I called Jose at 7:55 am, he arrived @ 8:30 am and did an inspection of my house and car for bed bugs. I got bed bugs at a hotel and they were in my car and I thought they were transferred into my house. He did a thorough inspection of my house and car for $65.00. I didn't have them. Other companies wanted to charge me $130 and up just for an inspection of my house. Jose said that if I did have bed bugs it would be $500 to fix the problem for the whole house.

Other companies wanted to charge me $475 per room. Jose is the owner, he takes pride in his business and I would highly recommend them. A great price is one thing but they also provide you with superior service. Thanks again Abyss.

I used Abyss Pest Control today and I had an excellent experience! Both Jose (who booked my appt.) and Ross (the technician) spent time with me and answered all of my questions. Ross spent a good deal of time explaining all the different services that pertain to my flea situation. And the best part is. they came out the same day I called! I would highly recommend Abyss to anyone who needs helps with bugs!

They are the best! This company is willing to do whatever it takes to solve the problem. I had a horrible problem that went on and on. Jose came in and wouldn't give up until he found the problem and it was taken care of in a week.thrilled! They don't waste your time or your money. Ross was also fully committed to trying to resolve it. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys.

We used these guys and Ross was our technician. He was informative, polite and very easy to deal with. We had to have him come back a few times (within our contract) and he was always attentive and always happy to come back and get the job done. I would recommend these guys in a heart beat!
