Cave Crickets
Report
As their name implies, these crickets are commonly found in caves, although some species also dwell in cool, damp areas such as beneath rotten logs, damp leaves and stones. Others require highly specialized environments. "Sand Treader" cave crickets are found only in sand dunes, where they burrow by day and are active at night. These cave crickets are pale in comparison to other species and are equipped with strong bristles on the back legs to enable digging.
Pantry Pests
Report
They are called as a whole group collectively as pantry pests. They have an appetite for stored food products (people and pet foods) such as: flour, cereal, dry pasta, dry pet food, powdered milk, corn starch, crackers, spices, breads, bird seed, dried nuts and fruit. They become especially troublesome when these foodstuffs are stored in paper containers and go unused for extended periods of time.
Wood Boring Beetles
Report
Lyctid powder post beetles infest hardwoods and can be found in manufactured products in relatively new homes. They can be introduced as eggs or larvae in firewood, improperly dried wood, or even wood that has been stored. Hardwood flooring, furniture, door and window frames and decorative trim are particularly susceptible to attack.
