Started using The Pest Shop about a year ago when I had a rodent issue. I was tired of the 'guessing game' and throwing $ away at the local DIY stores and not getting long-term results. So, I turned to the 'professional' DIY shop. They gave me what I needed for the immediate and long-term solution, and I have no more issue. Now they are my 'pest' shop for termites, chiggers, mosquitos, ants, etc. Again, they came through.

In the long run, they have saved me $, time and aggravation. I love their 'solve your problem' approach, with no 'high-pressure' sales service. Using The Pest Shop is good for my family environment. I'll be back.

Awesome place. Helped me with some bugs in my yard that has lasted for over 6 months. Patrick was amazing recommending different products specific to my house that backs up to a creek.

They can sell you professional products for DIY. Just bring in a sample of you pest problem and they will tell you how to take care of it.

Had a rodent issue in my house I just recently bought. Had an inspection from another company that seemed astronomically high, called the Pest Shop and didn't even pay a 10th of the cost! The owner Laurie greeted me as soon as I walked in to the store. I asked Laurie about mosquito control with my newly purchased Ryobi fogger/mister and she was very patient in explaining to me about all the options. I am very pleased with my experience and will definitely visit this store again.

We have a 12 month contract on a new install, Twice has run out. They have missed several months including this one.

Let me start by saying the young man that helped me, Patrick is very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the chemical application to get rid of and control pest. Mosquitos are bad in my area this year and seriously annoying in my backyard. In the past, I have sprayed for them Which controls at about 80% effectiveness. So I went online to find a do it yourself pest control chemical source.

I found these guys, called them and Patrick confidently said yes, come on up we have what you need. So, I drove up, parked and when I walked in I immediately noticed, the two young men behind the counter didn't have a mask! Patrick greeted me and walked around the counter to engage me in the shop. For those not familiar there are a few shops that you can go to and purchase a concentrated version of the dilute chemicals you buy at the hardware store.

If you don't already do this I recommend it. Patrick and I discussed in some detail my mosquito problem and a few other pest topics. Then I ask the price on the items he recommended which were significantly above what Id anticipated. However, these are concentrated and are double to triple what a dilute version at Home Depot would cost. Several times during the conversation I was distracted by the fact Patrick had No Mask and was standing closer than was comfortable.

I decided not to buy from this shop mainly because I realized the owner didn't care about mine or my family's safety by letting his employees go maskless! there are other shops selling these products and I will seek them out. I recommend if you are concerned that we are in a pandemic and you want to be safe and cautious, Do not Go Here! Make your political statement in a safe way but WEAR A MASK while doing it!

Amazing service! Highly recommend to anyone that has an issue and needs a quick, fast and effective solution. I don't normally leave reviews but I had to because of how outstanding they were!

The Pest Shop boys, Mike and Dane, are amazing. I had a termite problem and went into their shop to buy the right chemicals to treat our home. Mike took the time to explain how to safely and simply use the products. Then Dane came out to my home to inspect it and added his practical advice from a field perspective. It's rare in today's fast paced world to find people as passionate about their industry as these two! They saved me hundreds of dollars and I learned to perform the work as good as the pros if not better. Highly recommended!

I have been getting my fertilizer and pest treatments from The Pest Shop for several years and am extremely pleased with the results. Mike Smith knows his business/products and can diagnose and recommend a solution that works every time. I had previously hired a Pest Service and Lawn Care Company and spent too much money for average results. I really never thought it would be this easy but with Mike's help I have been treating my yard for a lot less money and getting amazing results. Couldn't be happier.thanks Mike!

I bought 2 products at this store based on the recommendation from the store employee. Was fighting ants for 2 months without any results. Ants keep getting inside the house. I wanted to return the products because they are expensive and cost around $70 for both, but was told that this store has no refund policy which I was not aware about. I wanted to talk to the owner and the store employee told me to call or come the next day between 10 am and 12 pm.

When I called the next day at the time given, I was told that there is no owner at the store and try the next day. I tried several times along with my wife, but every time we called we were told that the owner is not available and that we do not know how to use the product. I am sure we can push the nozzle in the spray can and spread granules around our house. I was told to reapply both products, so we kept reapplying every week and after every time it rained. Both products do not work and we are out of $70.

I have been coming to The Peat Shop for over 20 years. They always know exactly what products I need to resolve any bug issue. They also spend the time to educate you, not just try to sell you something.

I have been coming to The Pest Shop since 1995. From the previous owner to the new owner, the service you get here can't be beat. They not only take the time to educate you on whatever problem you are having, but they also will not try to over-sell you on products or unnecessary treatments. If you are looking for honest and expert information this is the place to come.

I have reviewed The Pest Shop twice before and I'm not sure what happened to that review but they were both fives. I've lived in Plano 20 years and Mike has help me with all of my pest problems. He knows a lot about animal behavior as well as the pest control products. He's able to tell me how to humanely control any problems that I have around the house.

I purchased rat bait/poison and a strong weed killer for our thorny strawberry looking noxious vines. Lots of good information and background. Formulations not available in regular retail dept. or home stores. It's my 2nd recent visit.

We recently opened Windhaven Senior Living in Frisco. They not only take care of our pest control needs but have also trained us on preventative issues we never thought about. I have referred them to other people and they have all had the same opinion. Pest Shop is the way to go.

The staff is VERY knowledgeable in pest elimination. After a pest control company was unable or unwilling to solve the roach problem the Pest Shop's advice and materials did the trick. For far less than the ineffective pest control service charged the treatment recommended by The Pest Shop was effective and I haven't seen any bugs. I have enough chemicals for several more treatments. Great job guys.

Had an issue with army worms a few months ago and called the Pest Shop after calling a few pest/insect control companies. The staff at the Pest Shop told us exactly what we needed to do and how to do it. The products they sold us were a little less than what it would cost for someone else to come do it once, but we have enough to take care of any issues that occur in the future. Highly recommend the pest shop and we will be using them with any pest control need we have.

Patrick knows what he's talking about. I went on a Saturday morning because my son actually saw a rat in the shed. Patrick recommended what I needed and even loaded the traps. Sunday morning, dead mouse. Went into the shed where the rat was seen alive, but this time. DEAD

I share similar thoughts to Ryan's feedback. Service was fine but the prices are marked up like crazy! I purchased "Onslaught Fast Cap" for a little over $100 dollars with tax. I found the same product at online pest control retailers for $52.00 and on Amazon for $67.82. I understand for prices to be a bit more versus online but the difference is too significant for me to ever come back or recommend this pest shop.

I felt swindled. I did read the response from the owner that he had for Ryan. So I brought the one star to a three star. I appreciate the owner taking the time to respond to feedback and caring what is being said about his business. As a consumer and probably most average consumers, we are always seeking for the best deal and lowest prices. The prices here are high dollar but at least you will get expert advice and service with it.

I've come here for years for various supplies you can't easily find elsewhere. Best service and knowledgeable, helpful staff. Perfect example of why we should do business with small local companies.

Mike got me all taken care of super fast and easy. He saved me a ton of money vs paying for someone to come spray my house, I would recommend him to anyone!
