Peter was excellent. As a Realtor, I've sat through lots of inspection presentations, and Peter did an excellent job of relaying concerns regarding the property without conflating them to bigger issues than they needed to be. TexInspec has served me well!

Dale Brock is OUTSTANDING. He spent the time to inspect all appliances and systems inside the house. He also spent time inspecting the surrounding property area outside the house (including trees that needed branches trimmed). Because of his expertise and attention to detail, I have a thorough "Inspection Report" that covers systems needing further evaluation, appliances and systems needing maintenance, and those areas/systems that require fixing/repair.

For those Individual and family home buyers that are looking for a top-rated inspector, I recommend Dale Brock. He's one of the best. Dale has the needed experience and expertise required to fully diagnose and reveal the (true) condition of any house (and outside surrounding property)!

Steve did a great job of keeping us informed and updated on the status of the inspection on our second home! The inspection was quickly processed and had great photos documenting everything for our future reference. He also answered all questions that we had. Would highly recommend!

Our inspector Patrick from TexInspec was very knowledgeable about how house structures should be as he has been doing this for many many years. He sees every small details that we wouldn't know we should be checking & gave us very helpful tips & advise on how to maintain the house. Steve Tufts with TexInspec is wonderful. I can't say enough nice things! I was so blown away by the quality of service he provided. Not only did he take great photos of items he wanted us to see due to the items being faulty or broken, but he also took photos of aspects of the home about which he felt we should be aware. He called me to share some of the nuances of this house and allowed me to ask all sorts of questions.

Peter Miller was our inspector and he was great! Very thorough. Got up on the roof and went into the attic. He was super kind but more importantly, he did not rush us and took the time to explain things/concerns in detail. The only thing I would complain about with respect to Peter's service was when he told us he did what he could but could not see into the future . Would definitely recommend Peter Miller with TexInspec.

Very very grateful for the thorough inspection of my new home. Steve is very knowledgeable and explained everything, with pictures. Helped me feel confident in the house I'm buying. Although there were some things that need fixing, I'm so glad he pointed them out and explained how to address each one.

Don't let this inspection company into your home! Our house was inspected by them while on the market. The two technicians, Rich and Shawn, didn't know what they were doing. My husband had to show them how to turn on the pool equipment, they stated they knew how to turn it off correctly. We woke up the next morning to our pump making a horrible sound.

My husband went out to the backyard and immediately had to fill up the hot tub as they didn't turn valves back correctly and our hot tub was completely drained. They also put in the report that they couldn't get the heater to work for the pool. They left it on all night. They also reported our foundation was failing. Our structural engineer (450.00 out of pocket) said nothing was wrong.

They said we needed a whole new roof. Insurance agent said only minor repairs needed. They missed things they should have caught. In the end, their report scared the buyers off and they got out of the contract. New inspector came in and did a Great job. They could have ruined our pool pump and heater and we lost a buyer! Be warned!

When booking, I called in the afternoon and was able to book an appointment the following morning. Amber assisted me and went through their service offerings, providing an honest description of each. I appreciate that she didn't try to 'upsell' me items that I didn't need. Charles was absolutely fantastic! Really. As a first-time, home buyer I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer and explain everything to me in terms that I would understand.

The report is extremely thorough and well documented and you get in on the spot. The following day I realized that I forgot to ask a question, emailed Charles, and he responded promptly with a quick answer. Just fantastic customer service through and through! Steve was the inspector, top notch service. When I arrived, Steve had already been inspecting the house for almost 2 hours. By the time we left, Steve had been there almost 4.5 hours. Inspected everything he possibly could. I really appreciate the level of detail and just old fashioned good work. Steve also spent time reviewing all the details with me verifying if I had any questions. When you are spending your hard earned money on a house, this is the level of detail you want.

This company is amazing! We had them inspect our property prior to going to closing. The inspectors were detail oriented and walked me and my husband through all of their findings. It is a month later and we had to call for information and the service level with the staff on the phones is outstanding. Thank you for caring and helping us through the process!

The scheduling and inspection were painless. Everything was professionally done. What bothered me was they kept calling me with offers on insurance, and other services. They keep calling. I got calls, texts and email messages. Essentially I felt like they sold my contact info to other businesses who target new residents.

Have used TexInspec twice over the past few weeks while looking at two homes. Great experience with Jose both times as he is extremely professional, thorough and explained his findings in detail. The final report is printed out and available onsite as soon as the inspection is completed. Makes it easy to review everything while in the house and make decisions quickly! Would highly recommend the company as the entire prep was from scheduling to completing inspection is smooth and efficient.

Hired this company knowing they were more expensive than most & thinking they'd be better & more detailed. My first mistake. Their main goal is NOT inspecting your future home but selling you a termite policy. After they inspect the house & meet you to discuss the findings this is the first thing they'll talk about. The man they sent out was nice enough but basically just referred us to consult with a Plummer, electrician and roofer.

Which we did- more $. He said the foundation was good. We had a foundation co. come out as well because he actually wasn't even able to get under the house. The foundation was definitely not good, so very glad WE chose to do this & didn't follow his recommendation. Things he found & suggested we hire a Plummer about were actually good however, waste of $150 for that.

I complained to TexInspec about this & after leaving several messages & waiting a week I got a call back from both the inspector & manager. The manager was not very nice & actually argued with me about this. He refunded the $100 charge for inspecting the crawl space under the house that I'd been charged, somewhat reluctantly. The final kicker is that this co. has now sold my contact information to other companies who have been calling & emailing me to purchase their security system & concierge service crap, really? How about just sticking with inspecting someone's possible future home, the reason you were hired!

I have used TexInspec 5 times at this point for purchases of investment properties. Patrick Murphy is our preferred inspector. He is seriously the BEST! I know this because recently I decided to go with another inspection co (GreenScene) as their inspector had previously inspected a condo I was selling. Serious mistake. They booked him back to back so he really only took one hour to inspect and 30 minutes to debrief and rushed through everything. Unfortunatley this was a primary residence and they missed major mold and faulty windows that caused leaking.

We are now in litigation with the builder/seller of our house. TexInspec inspectors sets aside 3 HOURS.at least two to inspect the house and the rest of the time to go through finding. I have NEVER felt rushed and feel like they caught so much. I will ALWAYS use them for my inspections.

Hired texinspec to do an inspection on my house in September and they completely missed black mold in my bathroom walls. After purchasing the home I had to tear down an entire wall and part of another to get rid of the mold and fix the water leak that was causing it. After contacting them to rectify the situation it took them 6 months to say sorry we are not responsible.

This was a blatant Miss by their company. Black mold can cause serious health issues and damage and they offered no help or assistance in the matter. If you want to save your self a lot of money and time please find another inspection company.
