Worst service ever employee never show up. He was to come by 5:09pm and he call at 7:00 pm telling me that he was tired and, sorry they will come back in two weeks. I contacted the office and was transferred to Kathy, I asked for GM and he never answer the call either. When I told them that I was going to report them to the BBB, then I was transferred to him.
He started that he was going to credit my card but they charge my card and stated that he was going to credit the account which they never did. worse company ever, beside committing fraud by charging for services not render. Bobby, the GM. Even do they didn't showed up, they had the oddosity of charging my card.

I hired Massey for both Pest control and Lawn Service. I dropped the Pest control after one year because they could not control the ants on my property. I now use a barrier product from Home Depot that works properly. As for the lawn services - My lawn looks 400 times worse now- after four years of Massey techs coming out every other month and doing the same treatment with seemingly no regard to what is actually happening in my yard.
I have huge bare spots and the same weeds are hanging out as have been there for months. They do not EVER shrivel or even attempt to die after treatment. I complained and a "Manager" came out twice so far this year. He promised aeriation grass plugs, a product to boost the soil. But then I hear nothing more and the same tech comes out and applies the same products as before. Empty promises. Crappy looking lawn.

I'd rate them a zero if I could. Poor technical service. Failed to identify half of the sprinkler locations on our property. Consequently, they did not service half the sprinkler. We continue to have poor irrigation coverage. When told of this error, they scheduled someone to come in 4 weeks. When cancelled, they continue to have someone come; though we had to hire another company to fix Massey's oversight. I've spoken to both the corporate office, and the local office; they appear to be a rip-off enterprise. No customer service, and substandard technical support.

I had my contract cancelled 8/19/21. A month later you send your technician anyway. I told you i was not going to pay- my contract was cancelled. 10/14/21 you send me a text that General Manager Jason was removing the $50 from my account. 5/27/22 you are sending me a collection letter for same services. I do not owe you anything. Sending me a collection letter for services I had not ordered and your company had already promised (in writing) to remove is not a way of building trust.

We bought a new construction DR Horton home in February 2021. Included by the builder was approximately 30 Termite bait stations and a 1-year termite protection insurance policy through Massey. The coverage was for one year only with an option to renew it on my own for upto 5 years in total. Now that the year is up Massey has threatened to trespass on my property to remove the bait stations claiming they are their property.
That is a lie because my builder sales contract clearly states only the insurance coverage is temporary, not the bait stations. This is a hard sell technique bordering on extortion with their threat to remove the builder paid for bait stations. I warned the sales person that any unauthorized trespass will result in my calling the police to have them arrested for trespass and attempted theft.
My neighbor just contacted them today with the same warning after finding a letter on his door threatening removal of his bait stations if he does renew the policy. I have 24 hour video surveillance to ensure prosecution if any attempt is made. I have another annual service with them for boundary pest control that because of their actions in the matter above I will not be renewing.

These people have killed my lawn. I have complained many times and they have done NOTHING. They say someone will call you and they don't. This service has deteriorated over time and they are now providing ZERO customer service. They charge a pretty good amount but don't give a crap about their customers. Stay away from their lawn business

We hired Massey Lawn Service and were very disappointed. Our new yard needed lots of TLC and maintenance. After 6 months of servicing the yard, it looked exactly the same with no improvements. We contacted Massey who send the General Manager. The GM said he would get back to us which never happened. Consequently, we cancelled our service. Massey has a service guarantee, but we received nothing in compensation for no improvement or difference in our yard. It was very frustrating! We do not recommend Massey Yard Service!

Avoid Massey Services at ALL costs. If you call to cancel, they tell you only a GM can do it and the GM's aren't available. They tell you that they will call you back to cancel your service and then never do. Then they charge you for additional services beyond that and will NOT budge. The GM in St. Petersburg Florida, JOE, even lied and said that he called me, which he NEVER did.
Then argued with me over cancellation policy. Complete lowlife. I feel sorry for anyone that does business with Massey or even is employed there for that matter. They are so bad that they don't even have Google Reviews public anymore and all of their high up executives have messaging on Linkedin turned off, because I assume they would be flooded with consumer complaints if not. Total sweat shop. BEWARE!

I hired this company on November 2021, I had before Truegreen but because too many last minute service cancellations I had to close the account. Now with Massey it is worst, was a huge mistake, no show no call on the days of service, I had to call several times including to talk with a manager a lot of times but nothing happened. Also they charged me for service not performed.
I paid in advance for a year almost $1,000, and now I had to call to cancel the account and have my money back. At least with Truegreen my land was green and thick, now is dying with weeds every where.

STAY AWAY! Can't believe a big company like this claims to be # 1. It s a joke, bad customer service, lack of communication and on top of that when you want to cancel they bring up their policies. Like if they were using their policies when signing a new customer, or when you called their office and they don't know anything about your service. And poor technicians showing and not knowing what type of service they are performing.
And not to mention that if you have an emergency and can't be in the house you have to wait for hours until they show up because they do not bother to give you a heads up. Terrible experience!

Never ever use this company. We have never ordered service past our free year through the builder and they keep sending bills, I keep getting noticed that someone is coming out, I keep calling to cancel and months later they still call, send someone we have never seen, and try to bill us, the HARASS us over a bill that isn't ours. NEVER ever use this scam of a company!

I would give 0 star if possible. They are charging me big $$$ and my lawn is dying over the period of time 10 months. They kept reassuring me it will get better but it never did. I requested the technician text or call me before coming but he would call after doing treatment. I never saw anyone come over. When I called the office the lady made it seem it's my fault that my grass is dying. Please DONT trust them with your lawn.

Critical: Quality Hired Massey because they promised that my lawn was going to be beautiful. They killed my weeds but failed to alert me of the possibility of having uncontrollable weed growing on the bare patches left by killing the dollar weeds. Now I have to replace my lawn because uncontrollable weeds grew there.what a nightmare.

Well after texting the GM for commercial pesticides he responded back very quickly with because of work history they won't continue my process. So a great example of a company that preaches about professionalism but can't be professional and send an email to tell me that they won't continue the application process. This must be said I've only had three jobs since high school and one sponsored recruit job and to them that's a crazy job history. So Massey services thanks but can't wait to call another pesticide company to work on my house at least they will be professional.

Paid $600 for them to change a part on my sprinkler system because I got new sod installed. They changed out the part but it was faulty so they came out again and changed it to one that works but for some reason the second one didn't work either. I didn't realize my sprinkler system was not working because it runs early in the AM and I had been away for months.
I came back and all my grass was dead. $3500 in new sod all dead. I called them asking them to fix the part and they said that since I was not a monthly customer they could not fix it anymore. I paid them $600 to kill my grass basically. Horrible company, will steal your money, give you parts that don't work and run off.

Multiple times over the few years I've had massey they have called to tell me they were coming out to do a service and they never did. They've always charged me and I have to call the office to ask them if they came out. Last week I received a call that they would be out over a week ago and when I called yesterday to verify if they had come out or not even though I knew they did not they told me that they had no record of me even being scheduled despite me talking to the individual who was supposed to come out on the phone. 2 years ago I ended my termite policy and they called me to schedule it and when I did not return their call they build me for it and still never came out.
The new manager (probably the 5th or 6th in 3 years) emailed and showed up to hand me all of the reports from when they came out as a rebuttal to me claiming they charged me and would not show up unless I followed through. This was a poor attempt to divert from actually providing signed contract agreements. The leadership at corporate hide their contact info and do not return phone calls or emails when you find it, they are cowardice.
I am not going to continue to give money to a company that not only can't keep their word or show up when they are told but even still bills people for something they did not receive.

Last week Massey treated my yard. For some time they have been spraying an area of my yard for weeds. the area keeps looking worse and worse. This time after they came the grass died in the areas they sprayed. I complained and they sent a supervisor who said he couldn't understand what happened. he sent out someone who just sprinkled some fertilizer on it. today it looks even worse.

I live in stonecastle apartments and Massey takes care of the pest control here. We had a German roach problem for a while and we couldn't take care of it our selves. Then Derrike came along and took care of it in one treatment! He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand what we had to do to prevent future problems. We will definitely get services when we move into out own home!

Worst company Do not trust our yard to them. They make up all kind of reasons why your grass is brown and never fix it. Almost a year now and our grass has never look worse. Gary thinks he knows everything about the grass but does not. He is condescending to you when you talk to him and almost rude to your face. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR YARD.

Wanted a less is more treatment where less chemicals or harsh treatments wouldn't be used due to health concerns from toxic pesticides as we have children and pets. They wanted us to sign a waiver stating we wont hold them liable if toxicity occurs. Ummm no thanks Massey. That says it all! I smell a skunk. There are lots of healthier choices for pest control that dont require a signature for a company to avoid liability. Just gross.

Critical: Professionalism I called to get a termite letter and inspection for my client and they stated it would be 85$. When they get out there they then tell me they won't do it without a treatment despite the fact they didn't even do a inspection yet. Would appreciate the upfront information when people are counting on these reports to close on time.

Resolve Pest Control was great before Massey bought them. Once they took over, the techs never called or text or emailed to let me know they were coming. They would be at my home 5 minutes and then leave. When I called to cancel service, the lady said I was still going to be charged the quarterly $85 because I was already due for that quarter or some bs. Then a tech never even showed up to do a final service. So yeah, do not sign up for any service from Massey. Unprofessional and no integrity.

Poor customer service. I was having my irrigation system fixed. Josh Jacobs came by, he was nice and attention to details for a quote. He said he would contact me on when they will schedule a time to fix my system. He said they were a month out. No call from Josh the following week so I called to find the day of the appointment. Now the day of the appointment has come and no one shows up.
So I called around 2 pm and they said it my be after 6pm before they may arrive. I was unable to be there at that time so I cancelled and I requested a refund. They do require payment up front. It appears when they take your money the customer service goes out the window. I have used Massey in the past for Irrigation and Pest Control without any issues. I an not sure what is going on with this company. I will now rethink using Massey Services in the future.

I had three services lawn care, tree application and sprinklers with this company, as well as pest control. I don't know what happened with this company but they upsell you to buy tree injections for lawn guarantee it but when the palm trees die they are no where to be found and wont give you your money back! I have been begging for them to re configure my sprinklers for a month and all i get is bs from them but no one actually does it because they collected the money. Stay away, total scammers only use for pest control they are ok there but terrible at lawn

This company is the absolute worst! We bought a new home and they were the contractor that the builder used for outside termite baits, so we continued the contract with them. In addition, we contracted them for lawncare and pest control. Our lawn is absolutely ruined. So many weeds that we terminated the service and are now in the process of having someone put in lawn plugs (it's expensive) and Massey's attitude was, well, we can't win them all.

The service manager left a message and he speaks very poor English and it was difficult to understand. I called and asked to speak to the Owner and the receptionist said she didn't know how to get a hold of him, because they have thousands of offices!

I had Massey for 4 years and had no major issues. However, I sold my home and called them to let them know I didn't want to continue with their services because I no longer would be at the house. Unfortunately, they "can't find a record of my call to cancel" and continued to charge me for my services at a house I no longer own. They are now threatening to take me to a collection agency to pay for a service I cancelled. These people are scammers and have horrendous customer service. Avoid at all costs!

My yard looks much worse then when they started treating it. I paid to have the grass in the circle of my driveway (quite large) replaced with a different kind of grass that was supposed to grow well in shade. They came and killed my grass, then it sat for more than six months before they returned to put down the new grass. Now four months later it looks worse than the old grass did before it was killed, and the rest of my lawn has far more weeds than it did when they started.
I also prepaid for a special treatment that was never completed. The manager came out a few months ago and said he'd take care of the problems but never did. I've had it with lawn service. Still use pest service which has been OK. Don M

They make a lot of big promises when you're signing up and then never follow through. After paying for lawn care for over a year (and my grass looking 100% worse than when I started), the manager comes out and tells me that their solution doesn't really work on the type of grass I have, so my question is why on earth would someone sell me on the service if it was never going to work?
They also told me when I was signing up that they would replace anything that dies - and now that all my grass is dead they said the most they could do is aerate the lawn? I am going to seek out an honest, local company that is actually going to care about my lawn.

Horrible service. Broken promises. They drive by an stick a flag in the front yard saying they serviced but the gates were locked due to a pool, so how could they "service" us without letting us know they were there so we could unlock the gate? A bunch of liars is what they are! Do not trust anything they say? Are they even spraying bug control or is it just water? I have my doubts.

They advertise that they treat the outside so the bugs don't come in. So why do I have German roaches, pharaoh ants, carpenter ants and some other type of tiny roaches in my home? Plus active termite infestation when I have an ongoing termite protection contract with them? Plus scheduling is a week out because I'm a business owner and don't have a wife to sit at home to deal with this. Yes, I'm female and that is sarcasm.

****Customer Beware**** You may not be getting what you pay for. I just had my first service and the person who did it did not realize I have cameras viewing my yard. They grabbed a couple of handfuls of fertilizer and threw it onto my shrubs. The individual spent a total of two minutes on my property then left a report saying they fertilized the entirety of my yard. This is an absolute LIE and a blatant effort to defraud customers.

I was told when I called and explained that I had a severe flea problem in my enclosed garage that it would cost $175 to fix the problem They came out and saw how bad it was because the fleas were coming out of the garage through the door into the driveway there were so many the technician was covered without even going into the room mind you this all happened in a matter of less than 10 days from first flea until full-blown infestation.
He gave me a suit to wear so that I could clean everything up off the floor of the garage and he came back and treated the garage and the driveway A week later it was barely a noticeable difference. I called them they came back out to treat it again with something different I believe. A week later it was still a major major problem if I walked in the room 50 fleas would be on my legs by the time I could turn around and walk back out.
He came out one more time and did something else A few days later I called back because it was still a major problem still about 50 fleas maybe 40 at this point and I was told that "they no longer will be coming out to help me with my problem". Those were the exact words. When I asked for a reason I was told "we cannot help you" I had pulled all of the rugs out of the room nothing went in that room except for myself to check on the situation there was nothing living in there for them to be eating so apparently what they were telling me was their chemicals just didn't work.
They abandoned me after telling me they could take care of it and refused to give me my money back so that I can hire someone else to do the job. These pictures were taken before the second visit and before the third visit

These guys are the best. I use them for my home and business and have never been disappointed. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure we are happy and they seem to genuinely appreciate our business. They are very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable from the initial phone call all the way through the actual service they perform.
